Nice! It’s a great gamer!
Did this build for the black friday sale, i dud get the 12100f, 6650xt , corsair vengeance 2x8 c16 3200MHZ 510 evga bp psu, stock cooler, 870 evo 1tb, parts looked to be really good but even better with black friday deals. Only issue was motherboard, only had h610m gigabyte in stock as well as asrock, opted for the gugabyte as i already experienced premature failure with asrock boards.
Great video. 10th gen i3's are also worthwhile as they also have 8 threads, but the 12th gen has a solid 25-30% better single core performance.

Thanks for watching! Agreed! 10th gen is also pretty potent for budget builds!

@@PCTechHustle Yep. I got a brand new i3 10100F for my friend's system and only paid $70 US. Then got a MSI H510 board for it for about the same. Both on Amazon. I've gotten so many deals on there. About 10 months ago I lucked out abd found brand new Seasonic GM-550 PSU's (A-tier) for only $40. I got two. I 've been getting so many good deals on Amazon that I only use ebay once or twice a year now.
What cpu cooler did you use?
Is it fine if I use a z690 motherboard so I can upgrade to i5-13600k?
Just watched the vid twice!!

That 12100 feels like it should just be an i5.

Hah! Right? Killer performer for $100
might be a dumb question but on this build would there be less latency lag than on console?
I have some wiggle room in my budget, what would you change or add to this build to make it a bit better performance wise?
@PCTechHustle

Go with an i5 of the same generation. I think you would be looking at spending another $60-80 if you did
Pretty nice deal

Nice. It’s a heck of a budget gaming rig!
still a good build and it costs ~$555 when you build mostly for efficiency/minimal aesthetics.
hi, msi pro h610m b works fine in this build? instead of cheaper b660
@PCTechHustle
Жыл бұрын
Yes it will. The only major limitation I believe is you won’t be able to enable xmp.
I got everything together computer turns on and posts, all fans spin but I have no rgb, do I just check my connections again?
@PCTechHustle
Жыл бұрын
I would. Sounds like you have fan power but not RGB. Something might be miswired, same case?
is it true that 12100F will not post on B660 with pci GPU and you need to use a cpu with integrated graphics to change the BIOS settings ?????Thanks in advance
@PCTechHustle
Жыл бұрын
Not sure entirely what you are getting at but this works just fine with a 12100f and a dedicated GPU
@japekto2138
Жыл бұрын
That problem occurs with the RX 6600 on some monitors when you use an HDMI cable. You have to use the motherboard HDMI and integrated graphics on POST. It doesn't seem to be a problem when you use a Display Port on the RX 6600 whether it's a pure Display Port cable or a cable with Display Port on one end and HDMI on the other end. The same problem occurred when I assembled a PC for a relative and used an RX 6500XT.
does this run microsoft flight sim at maximum graphics? with still a good fps?
@PCTechHustle
Жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t try max graphics for MS Flight Sim but I’m sure you can dial up the settings pretty high still.
I need ultra settings benchmarks. Of course fps is gonna be high on lowest settings
@PCTechHustle

I was trying to show how it would do on low settings compared to my other more budget builds but I agree with a big higher performing build like this that can handler higher settings I need to do a side by side of low and high settings
Im assuming this works well with x-plane 12?

Why tested at low settings 1080p ? You should test at least at high settings . I dont thing that somebody spends 280€ to play at low settings .
@PCTechHustle
Жыл бұрын
The idea was to try and bottleneck the CPU or to see if one exists. Also to serve as a bit of a comparison between my previous budget videos. Honestly I don’t think I would recommend playing on high settings either. Maybe for a game like valorant but even a game like that there is near zero visual difference between high and low.
