    If u r getting i3 12100f with rx6600 If u are tight on budget go with stock in box cooler (that will make some noise not very but yeah). But if u can spend like 20-25 $ go with a deepcool gammax cooler Or any other cooler (it will help cooldown temp. And will make no noise like zero noise). Btw gaming temp. On this card with stock cooler will get to something 75-85 degree celsius and with a seperate 20-25 $ cooler u will get like 68-75 degree celsius. Hope this helps😃👍

    Very reasonable build. *_FYI_* . . in reference to the TeamGroup M.2, their MP34 series sticks use DRAM cache (vs. SLC). This is a tad slower but greatly improves the life expectancy of the drive. It actually doubles the life expectancy.

  • @DerekDavis213

    @DerekDavis213

    Жыл бұрын

    Talking about MP34, TeamGroup does *NOT* even reveal how much DRAM cache is on the drives, when you look at 'Specifications' on their website. Not enough information there to trust the drive.

I keep watching vs videos with different amd cpus and I have come to the conclusion that....amd is basically Intel. Now that they have copied (yes I said copied) intel's mobo socket NOW they can hopefully catch up to (or even surpass) them. So while I'm waiting to build up my financial portfolio (get my money up) I'll just buy into the ecosystem and enjoy. Also I like the fact that amd has power efficient components. • @TechLionPCs

    @TechLionPCs

    Жыл бұрын

    For a system of this quality, a 75hz system at 1080p would do justice. If you're aiming for higher FPS so that you can fully utilize 144hz, something more powerful may be need. Esports titles like Valorant, CS:GO, Apex Legends and Siege should be able to hit +144FPS with this setup as long as you tone down the graphics but more graphically intensive games may not. I personally run an RTX 3070 using a 27" 1440p 144hz display and that's about the tier of graphics card you'd want for that sort of refresh rate.

  • @TechLionPCs

    Once you start going more powerful with video cards like the 3060Ti or RX 6600XT, an i5-12400 would work better to squeeze out more performance. Plus you'll have access to both P cores and E cores so even your day-to-day tasks will get a nice boost as well in comparison to the 12100F, which is more of a budget oriented processor.

    Good specs for a budget build but there are a couple things you should consider changing. Go with a B660 motherboard with some cooling on the VRMs, which will provide better thermals, upgrade path, and longevity. Also, that PSU is terrible. Search "cultists psu tier list". The EVGA N1 has a "Tier F - Replace Immediately" rating and bad professional reviews. Not a good unit to trust with your components. Best of luck to you.

    @@vengence7834 Yeah, but the newer drivers tend to be unstable, so did u have stability problems before and now they're fixed? BTW After a further investigation, I discovered that we depend on the silicon lottery when we buy an AMD GPU because the adrenalin drivers do automatically a little overclock and if we have unstable cores in our GPU or CPU, we may have problems and that's what I'm experiencing right now and that's a pain in the butt.

    I have basically the same build, only the ram and gpu brands are different (but same model/specs) and everything else (even the case) is the same. I found it funny because I didn't see this video before building mine. I replaced the front intake with 2 noctua fans. I find the intel cpu cooler to be a little too noisy for my taste under heavy load. However, it only happens during gaming when I'm usually using headphones, so not such a big deal (I might replace it with a noctua cooler in the future, also for consistency, although it sounds like an overkill for this cpu). I wonder if I will be able to use the pcie 1 under the gpu, as there is very little space. For now I don't need wifi, but if I do in the future I might want to install a wifi card. Worst case I've seen there are risers available but I'm not sure about size/spacing issues (bringing the card down a slot might interfere with the audio cable). One thing that reviewers often don't mention is that if you use a 3-slot gpu with this mobo, it covers the pcie1. This is why I only considered 2-slot cards. But if I want to upgrade in the future, say to a rtx 3070 or 3080, I've seen that most (not all) use 3-slots. This is something to keep in mind when choosing the mobo. Anyway so far I'm very happy with the build, it plays anything at Ultra settings at 1080p above 60fps (actually so far with the games I gave above 80-90 fps).

    If I were to somehow get my hands on an RTX 4090, I'd love to test this out to see how bad it'd bottleneck!

    the absolute worst in this build is that h610m that totally tanks performance use a cheap b660 from asrock Instead not this

    U mean that board would thermal throttle the cpu and in turn bottleneck the gpu? Nah not for a board with a vrm heatsink. This whole build is low wattage anyway, ur not raising temps up that much even when gaming. B660 boards have better features and it’s what you need for any cpu higher than this, but for gaming this h610 will work fine. U are severely limited in ur upgrade path tho, any cpu upgrade would have to come with a new mobo

    The absolute worst is you dont know what you're talking about for i3 with low wattage h610 is already enough, so there's no reason to buy b660 except if you plan to upgrage to i5 in the future

    In h610 u can pair i3 12100 or i5 12400f easily there wont be any bottleneck for both of them , as for b660 getting a good mobo for it is good instead of cheaping out
