Because of you, I bought a 3D printer and found out I like to do model boats now 😅 crazy thing is now it’s a family event. My parents, wife and I hang out around the printer making RC boats
never got a video recommended under 1 minute, this crazy
Note: if you don't have a big budget don't be scared to get the smaller printers. It's very possible to print big stuff on these things just know its going to take some more time to finish your props! Me and allot of other builders have build full Ironman suits on the small printers and they are amazing to! Yes big is nice but if you can't afford it don't be scared to buy buy small :)

I purchased the FLSUN V400 (1st printer) because of your Video about it and I'm really happy about it 😊 still learning day by day about better settings

Nicely done Frank!
Great video I’ve been looking to get a bigger 3D printer and this really helps
Just ordered my Neptune 3 Plus not even an hour before this video was posted! (Fyi to everyone, it's currently restocked in the US and EU!)
I have the ender 5 plus and it’s fantastic for printing larger stuff. Full size helmets is a breeze. Ive done many mods to mine to try to make it more versatile and more reliable. Magnetic bed, direct feed instead of Bowden tube, higher temp hot end which requires swapping out the screen for the th3d screen that’s compatible and updating the firmware. Its like its a different printer now. Much quieter and printing tpu is now not an issue with jamming in the Bowden tube. Higher temps allows for printing higher strength materials like carbon fiber polycarbonate without having layer adhesion issues. Had to go through a massive learning curve to get where I am today. Your channel has helped and more importantly inspired ambition and sparked my imagination. I like this channel and Makers Muse a lot. Very different channels but both spark that imagination nerve in the brain. Lol Making stuff is fun. 😊

I have the same printers and have only added the obvious, capricorn tube, silent main board, and full metal extruder. Other than that i've never had any issues and have printed full size chest armor and helmets regularly.
This is really helping me know what 3D printer I want to get. :)
I’m a big fan of this new intro, looks pretty good👍🏻👍🏻

Excellent coverage of the latest printers and their pros and cons! Now I have my sights set on the Neptune 3 Max. Love your content, excited for the rest of the year!
I watched a lot of your videos before I bought my printer and Creality was definitely one of my top choices. I personally went with the Artillery Sidewinder X2 though because I felt it hit my needs better. If I get the money for another printer I'll probably get a Creality just to be able to see the difference between the two
this helped me so much thanks
Thq for the info and tips ! Just started printing 2 weeks ago and cosplay was in my plan for the future 🙏🏼
I just got a Neptune X for Christmas, and I'm still getting used too it, hopefully soon I'll be able to really get into these bigger stuff
i love your videos!
My first printer was a cr10 mini and I started with small things then where I work I started getting requests for items and I used that money to get a regular cr10 that ended up being 4 more I had a business going and then I decided to go big and the cobra max was my choice and when I say everything paid for itself it did and the max had a few bugs but they were an easy fix. I have a small resin printer and now I’m looking for a large format resin printer. My coworkers over a thousand of them know I’m the go-to guy for unique things especially around Christmas time I usually have all my printers going full throttle around the holidays. Love your channel and keep the great tips coming. I’ve only been printing for four years now and I’m busy every day.
Awesome! I just got my first printer, a Neptune 3 pro, I completely thought myself
I’ve finally broke ground on my MK 39 build. I have all of the left arm done. Except for the inside elbow part. But I had 2 fails on the shoulder. And I have part of the right arm done. I just need to cut up more files. But, I am making it on an ended 3
ha, I literally messaged you a few days ago about your recommendation on a larger base plate printer! Great video, I'll be grabbing a Neptune as soon as I can find one available!
I got the elegoo Neptune 3 plus and it’s perfect what I was looking for, thank you 3:50
Finally got an ender 3 max neo on sale for around 300 after your last recommendation video. I haven't worked up the courage to print a helmet yet, but that's my ultimate goal. It's definitely a learning process but I love it.
Cant wait for your Bambu video
Loved the video it help me decided to try my hand and get one. Is there a standard size for the material that they all use or do they use special sizes
I have a Kobra max, it has a learning curve but I really like it.
great video thanks
I love my Neptune 3 Plus. Printing a Mando helmet right now. It's a beast
The Neptune line of printers are amazing just got a Neptune 3 plus
Your videos have inspired me to start my own 3D printing. I truly appreciate your honest reviews and recommendations in this video. Because of your comments I decided to try and purchase an Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus and to my surprise they have the Neptune 4 Plus for pre-order for the same price. I pulled the trigger and ordered it. I can’t wait to get it and start experimenting with it. Thanks again for the great content in your channel.

Well... I was planning on building a Voron in the near future, but that Neptune Max looks like it'll be my next printer instead. The cost difference coupled with the build volume. Great googly moogly.
Good information. This is why I am building a 500mm volume core xy printer since I couldn't find one with any kind of reasonable price.
I bought an Ender 3 Max and switched to a PEI plate. Works great! I do wish it had a dual Z axis.
My Neptune 3 Plus is supposed to be here next week. I bought it after seeing one of your recent videos with it. I just checked every day til I seen it was in stock.

Outstanding review, I have the Anycubic Kobra for a year now as my first printer to learn, looking to upgrade with a bigger volume and hopefully better resolution ,you convinced me to go with the Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus, just don't know if I should go for the N4plus instead
The Elegoo Neptune 3 Max is a BEAST!!! Wait on that one instead of the plus (320x320x400mm) vs the max (420x420x500mm) at like $470. Then change the nozzle to a 0.6, 0.8 or even 1mm cause as Frank said its gonna print slow but that's with the standard 0.4.
Got the neptune 3 plus as a 2nd printer as soon as it dropped the first time. I have regretted nothing it's so good haha
I just got my Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus, and it is an absolute monster/game changer. It's stupidly simple to use, and the "nanny" aids like mesh leveling make printing headache free.

With a similar budget to you, I got the Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus at around $380 and just got it yesterday. This is my second 3D Printer and so far it seems to be good, although I still need to try prints that take more than 3 hours and much larger scale. Good luck! You can also consider the Creality K1 which is slightly more expensive but comes with an enclosure.
Hi, I wanted to know if the MARK III suite is worth building for cosplay, like not too hard to make and wearable. Thank you and great video.
I got the longer lk5 pro for cosplay I got it for Christmas it worked great at first but then lately it’s been saying there is no filliment even though I have it in do you know what I should do
Another great video 3D printers. I want get the larger printers so I can print a Full Gundam suit. I am also learning to make a suit out of EVA foam.
Frank, Thank you. Any idea when the N3 Max should be back in?

i know this viodeo came out a while ago but what are your thoughts on the Neptune 3 pro as a first printer? Ive been thinking of getting one for the larger printing area. Thanks!
I’m an EVA foam builder but would love to get into 3d printing as well to complement the foam armour like details I just cannot build by hand so I’ve looked into resin printers due to its detail but I’ve got a low budget
Good Videos. Subscribed. I want to sculpt then print Helmets and Armor.
The cr10 max is a life saver. I gladly use more support than having to plastic weld and sand extra. Great thing I ever did. I have 2 cr10 maxes. Always printing something
Love the videos. Looking at getting my first printer that can do it all. I am torn between the P1P with one spool of filament or the Neptune 3 max with a total of 4 spools of filament. Which one do you think would be good for a first time buyer.
I love your white/gold power ranger helmet rip jdf
I've got the Neptune 3 Pro as my second printer (technically I did have the original Neptune 3 that was defective) and been considering the 3 Max as my official 2nd printer. Yeah, it will be under utilized for the most part, but there's been so many busts and other models I've wanted to scale up but just won't fit on the Pro at the size I want.
Finally a new cosplay printer for 2023. Frank idk if you remember me but I always say "use Frank's code when buying from sunlu"
I've been watching your videos and recently had a question about printing armor. I've been looking into getting more into cosplay and buying a printer to help with the creation process, specifically looking into the Neptune 3 Plus. A big concern I have is the possibility of really large or tall prints causing layers near the ends of the armor to hop and create layer shifting or just generally rough layers. Is this something that consistently happens with prints, and if so, what are things that I could do to prevent rough layers on large/tall prints?
Awesome video! Will you be reviewing the Elegoo Neptune 3 PLUS/Max on your review channel? If you do, looking forward to it. Thanks.
my favorite Printer i have is my Kobra Plus that is a 300X300X350 im printing my first helmet on it and its coming out great
I just got an Ender 3 Neo Max for my b-day. Printing the MK 85 helmet at 105% scale to fit my head and it works like a charm. Question, did you have to adjust any of the rollers on yours?
So much information and definitely appreciated 🫡🇺🇸
Can you do a little review video and show some slicer settings to get cleaner prints on the cr30 I can’t find much of anything on this printer
My first printer is on the way woot. My wife finally caved lol. I got the sovol one you recommended
I just lucky with getting a 300x300 anycubic mega max, paid $30 for it from someone who got it in a storage buyout and doesn’t know how to use so I have my first build volume above 220
I'm glas elegoo kept the names simple. Just pro, plus, and max. Simple, unlike a company who decided on max neo, neo, max, and sl1. What the heck are those soposed to mean.
I was thinking of getting the Ender 3 S1 Plus. What do you think? The bed size is 300mm all around, 20mm less in Z height than the Max Neo, very similar to the MN, but it has a built in Direct Drive. If I do get this printer, I plan to upgrade the heatbreak and heater block to accommodate 260C printing without the worry of burning the PTFE tubing and have the ability to print at 300C for more exotic filaments. I have to agree with starting small, I learned a lot from my Ender 3 Pro, and I’m comfortable going big on printer size. I know a lot of people who jumped into the Ender 3 Max without mouth prior knowledge and received a terrible experience. Best to start small, learn from your experience, and then go bigger.
@Frankly Built i know you might not see this but what do you think about the cr 10s pro v2 for this kind of stuff?
I'm 3d printing all the FNAF animatronics so I need a huge printer so this is a amazing video
if you can choose between the elegoo neptune 3 plus or the creality cr10 smart pro, which one would you recommend?
My first printer was a max. Fricking awesome printer. As a cosplayer I can’t recommend it enough.

always a great video where can I go for help I have a creality ender 3 pro. I have problems with adhesion and bed leveling I think? I assume that I level the bed correctly with the paper technique but i think i upgraded my machine without really knowing what i was doing just following the trends. I installed the newer motherboard, a Bl touch to auto level the bed. new springs under the build plate. I have tried everything with no sucesss at this point i feel like i am throwing money at the wrong issues. i am also about ready to remove everything and rebuild it from stock and see if that fixes the issue. any advice would help
This saved me a tone of time.

Can any of these printer support multiple colors like others at the same time
Hey for first time user wanting to do like clone helmets and armor would you say the nuptune 3 plus would be a good buy. Not to worried about price
Hey frankly I have an ender 3 pro and I just replaced a thermistor but now the fans won’t work only the mother board works but I have to do it manually
I think I'm gonna get the elegoo Neptune one
I would be very interested to see you test (if you can get your hands on one) the new Creality K-Series coming out this month. K1 Speedy, I think is the current name. Smaller build volume, closer to the Ender 3, but supposedly 12x faster.
which printer do you recommend? you for large prints like the parts of the ironman and also what printer do you recommend for small prints
Is it recommended that get a Creality CR6-Max for printing cosplay props, helmet, armor and others?
Frank, do you recommend going for the ender 3 neo max or the cr10s pro v2, both printers are at the same price $400 each brand new
Gonna have to reprint that mk 85 soon frank, getting too jacked lol
I am actually considering the Bambu p1p. So would be interested in knowing your take on it (didn't see a video on it in your library)
Are you printing costume parts in PLA or other material? And how thick are you making the walls?
Does anyone know if you'd be able to print a whole mandalorian helmet (in one piece) on the Ender 3 Max Neo?
Ender Extender kits are an option if you have an Ender or an Ender clone, I've seen a video where one was installed on a Voxelab Aquila with no issues. They have a 400 x 400 bed, you can order a z extension kit separately that will bring your z up to 400 also, or if all you need is more height you can just order the z kit. I haven't tried one yet, but from the review videos I've watched about them the one big complaint is they don't come with an extended heat plate, so your print plate only has the original size bed heater under it so you have to let the bed warm for awhile for the heat to radiate to the edge of the extended bed. Last time I looked I think the bed extender kit was about $200 US and the z kit was around $70 US. A less expensive option and you're still using the same printer you're already familiar with so I would imagine the learning curve would be much smaller.
@FranklyBuilt
2 ай бұрын
The only problem is now you can huge printers for $300-400. The ender extenders were cool but very dated and pricey now. Plus you run the risk of breaking something and building it wrong. Let along calibrating it to be a half decent printer. At a time it was a good option but it just really isn’t so much anymore
I do understand the time consuming prints for the max but for my use I would mainly use it for Mandalorian and Star Wars trooper armor which isn’t as complex and big as iron armor
