Pulling over on the side of country roads when tired AF and unsafe to drive so you can sleep a bit before continuing works as well. Key is warm vehicle engine, cold night, loud popping noises or metal cooling, and you in the vehicle as an easy snack 😂

Seattle- my ears perk up. Bellevue - hey that's my home town! Coal Creek - wait a minute, who wrote this? Oh this is hella creepy - this is my old stomping grounds. I knew there was a reason why I never wanted to go into the woods there!

well most of the steps will lead someone to being watched and acosted by either a squatch or something worse. kinda dangerous for anyone to take those steps. i have done it was not a squatch that night but something alot worse. and i had to let my friend go to the house while i stayed and had a conversation. i got a claw shaped scar on my left palm from the deal i had to make to not get eaten. no it was much worse than a werewolf, in fact what showed up was wearing the skin from the head of a werewolf like a hat or mask. looked kinda like a cross between a street shark and a rhinoman without a horn. i think it was an adult bargest. not sure though but it was deffinitly not a squatch or werewolf and that is the thing. someone takes those steps you mentioned and if it is a squatch they still may be eaten, if a werewolf they most probably wil be eaten, and if it is something worse. well sometimes getting eaten is the least of your problems. i just wonder why you suggest to people real steps that will get them eaten. and for you good people. here are the real steps to not get eaten. dont bring food or cook food in the woods at night. unless you have a whole bag of unwrapped but double ziplocked meat slim jims or rice krispy treats or apples or something of the like that is like 20lbs or more that you can pop open when it shows up and you can leave that and it can eat while you retreat but never run (running makes you a prey target) keep things like trees between you and it. there are most times more than one so dont shoot or threaten it. if the cryptid threatens you, seriously be able to harmm it below the waist so much that it cannot follow you, its family will become canibles and eat that creature instead of you, but you need to leave then cause when they are done they will come for you. if you want to gift, make it something that does not relate you to food. because relating yourself with food means eventually you are food. get it. bring a long blade and be able to reflect light from the moon onto the cryptid with that blade. i use a japanese nodachi 5 ft long. if you bring fire bring the ability to make that fire spread like a oil lantern that can break and start a big fire quickly cause the possibility of them harming you and that causeing a fire will keep them from harming you. like a dead mnan switch. like glass mason jar full of kerosene and a hole and wick in the top so if it breaks it will ruin their night. but please dont let it break k it is for your protection . i use a hurricane lantern that is always full. sends light out in all directions but behind me and i keep an infarred 5000watt lazer on hand because they dont like being touched with it . and put a camera on your back and a light source. because if you do have to walk out that video cam will be what gets your best evidence and you wont see it till you review the video at home later. i cant say bring bear spray that is just seasoning for your meat.like we use hot sauce. i cannot suggest what kind of weapon will protect you. i been out at night with a bowie knife and wooden spear with a hardened tip. also with a machete and pump bb gun. also with a sword and a 50 cal rifle. it really all depends on the cryptid and its mood and how hungry it is. if you hunt , drop one for them first and a second for yourself. it is a gift. but still you are relating your presence with food get it. shooting one in its private parts will deffinitly hurt. cap it in the knee too if you are forced to do that. leave the headshots for proffesionals. if it raises its arm and you see the armpit that is a weak point, if it threatens with teeth shoot them out kinda hard to eat you with broken teeth. but dont harm or threaten a cryptid unless it has already made the choice to eat you, because if it would have left you alone before it sure wont after you harm it so be sure it is life or death. bring a double sealed container of week old piss and if you think you are gonna be eaten, pour it on yourself , that way you wont taste as good and might get to retreat and live. if you can make a plasma grenade you may have a good enough protection there. but i wont tell you how to do that here. THE LAST WORD nope i am not like you, i already know the truth of all of it. and if it is myth or legend or nightmare, well just know it is real and you probably dont want to have contact with it. just saying. be sure what uyou ask for. you might end up never seen again untill some teenager says , damn that is a huge pile of poo...

There’s forest *near* Seattle and Bellevue? I had to travel hours just to find a place not covered in needles, even then you aren’t safe. I didn’t live there long 😅
