My favourite movie, it has everything i like, science concepts, good story, good acting, amazing soundtrack, amazing visual effects... love it and seen it many times. My kids already know what i'm watching just by hearing the music ahahah.
I can’t put into words how much this movie affected me as a kid. I’ve always had a close relationship with my father and I remember bawling my eyes out watching this. I wrote a letter for my father the next day and left it on his pillow. I was only 11 so I just wrote that I never wanted him to go to space. (I know the movie ended happily, but imagining not seeing my dad for that long scared me.) I don’t remember what he said, but I was so happy I had given it to him, I had convinced myself that I was the reason he never left off for space and never came back. Anyways, this film spawned my love for the cinema. Since I watched it, I have descended deeper into the world of film. It’s the way I relate to others, the way I learn, the way I make friends, the way I feel emotions I wouldn’t otherwise. Excuse the pouring of my heart, but I just wanted to state my appreciation
If any movie needed a part two, it is Interstellar.

No, the story leaves of perfectly, if Christopher Nolan wanted a part 2, he would have ended the film differently The current ending leaves a certain amount of mystery which stays in line with the rest of the film, in a way, and to have a part 2 would just essentially be nearly the same story, with less motivation and character development, since cooper has no drive since murph died

Interstellar has a way of showing the greatness of the cosmos. Personally, I think it shows us the moment that space meets time, that death meets life, and vice versa. And while that, we see how everything goes on and never comes back. How regret can hollow and corrupt you. But it also shows us beauty, wonder, importance, love. I'm left with no words.

This movie has a special place in my heart. Tt was the 1st sci-fi movie i ever watched, when i was 13. Went to see it in IMAX with my father. Seen it probably 15 times since and haven't yet found any other piece of film that represents everything I love about sci-fi. The movie is about making decisions based on your feelings and the meaning didn't open up to me until later on. It represents humanity and the fact that irrational decisions driven by feeling are just as valid as rational ones and can sometimes even turn out better. It is what makes us human. I love this movie with all my heart and hope it never loses it's shine for me.
