The bridge harmony is one of the best Beatles songs. In particular, the 2023 version has been greatly improved.

Paul has such a great voice. John has duende, and that sets him apart. Absolutely magical combination.

this song is a perfect tutorial of how to 1) almost perfectly match a double-tracked vocal by Paul and 2) how to sing perfectly in harmony so that every inflection of John nourishes and supports Paul's vocal. this is achieved only by singing with someone for years and years and years. it is like a football quarter back who constantly works with his receiver so that game-time they are already in sync. two of the greatest singers co-operating to create a song where the sum of the parts is greater that then whole.

Always loved how John's voice kind of overtakes when he joins in, so dynamic. Great stuff!

I wonder how you got the double tracked vocal isolated well. I heard it was on the same track as the harmonium.

The 5.1 mix has the harmonium quite low so it didn't interfere too much with the isolation
