I have watched a few of these reaction videos about this song. Thank you very much. It is thught provoking. Why did she leave home? The answer is in the last chorus. Fun is the one thing that money can't buy. Speaking for myself, my parents survived the great depression of the 1930's. My father survived the Battle of the Coral Sea during World War Two. They were kind Christian hearted people. But they never knew me. They worked hard to accomplish much. But they didn't know how to have fun.

Interesting that you chose to react to two of the Beatles best vocal renditions. One by Paul and the other by John. What stands out in "In My Life" is the wonderful percussion work by Ringo. So many reaction videos never go beyond the meanings of the lyrics. The Beatles were excellent musicians. In the years that they recorded their music, they had no peers. Nobody could bring songs to record like they did. Always ahead of the rest, they constantly showed the way. They never duplicated an album from one to the next. Ever evolving by musicianship and vocals. Their style was their own, Their music is just as fresh, today, as it was when we first heard them. Now, more than 50 years later, it cannot be denied.

It always surprises me how people hear music more than the words and no matter how amazing songwriting is it still cannot reach some people.

Yeah that's something else what other band do you know that uses an actual harp and the other song in my life they used a very speed where they sped up the keyboard makes it sound more like a harpsichord what they do is they slow down the original recording when they overdub the keyboard and then when it speeds up to the normal speed now that's at a higher speed the keyboard that is
