The Beatles in the studio recording Thank You Girl, March 5th 1963.

These series of videos by "Blindowl Music Videos" are educational, archival,
historical documents of a time in history. This video shows what the Beatles looked like, what they wearing, and what instruments they played while recording the song in the video. Very useful to music students, historians, or anyone interested in the Beatles. This is the first of (hopefully) many videos showing the Beatles at work in the studio. Blindowl Music Videos does not claim ownership in any way of the contents. Thank You Girl was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Please SUBSCRIBE to this channel and like, so I can continue bringing you these historical videos .Thank You for looking..

People that complain "too much Beatles" weren't there and don't realize how good their music was. It is still all I listen to in the car and Chet Atkins. As a group the Beatles were untouchable, but as individuals after they broke up I don't care for any of them. Their songs aren't neat and they all mostly sound alike, I think. We lived for the next Beatles songs and albums. Of all their music, no two songs sound alike.

This song is just so great and underappreciated. Everything about it: from the jangling acoustic guitars, great drums and bass and the incredibly tight vocal harmonies from John & Paul. Paul's high harmony and John's powerful throat-shredding lead voice are simply unbelievable together. They brought more joy to my generation, and the generations since, than any musical group of any era over the past 122 years. TIME named them the top Cultural phenomenon of the 20th Century for a reason folks....

They were so good that his playing and fills came up to their level and at times trumped them. They all rose to each other’s playing. Ringo doesn’t really get that opportunity any longer. Riff, their first album release anniversary, "Please, Please Me" is coming up on Mar. 22, 1963, on the Parlophone label. That set England afire, from which it never recovered! Exactly 8 months later, they released "With The Beatles" (knocked PPM from its #1, and WTB stayed #1 for an astonishing 21 weeks), also on the Parlophone label. It was Nov. 22, 1963. CBS radio had a segment that morning on them, with the expectation of a report on that evening's tv newscast, but another momentous event at 12:30pm CST overshadowed that day, knocking that report off for another day.

One the things that is so enjoyable about specifically the early period of the Beatles is how they, a basic rock band performing vocal compositions, could evoke such joy within the audience listening to their performance. Upon my hearing this very song, the B side of the first 45 rpm vinyl phonograph single I had ever bought of the Beatles, I was so uplifted by it, that I became an instant fan of the Beatles. Many Beatles fans have described this experience as the Beatles' "Happy Sound". The Beatles' Happy Sound is particularly noteworthy on their first four British albums, "Please Please Me", "With The Beatles", "A Hard Day's Night", & "Beatles For Sale".

The Beatles logo on the bass drum is different. I like this studio version, a lot more harmonica in this version. Very good. And I love their early stuff.

A favorite from early childhood for me. I believe this was recorded on the day of Patsy Cline's plane crash. Also recorded were "From Me To You" and "One After 909". The full session has been in circulation for decades.

In the past two days, I've played this video no less than twelve times. It's an exciting cut. From "Love Me Do" to the soundtrack for "Help," the early Beatles were the purest Beatles. ❤

What an early, not very well known Gem, by the Beatles. You have the Buddy Holly style lyrics, "I could tell the world a thing or two about our love." To go along with the Everly Brothers style harmonies. Add in some kick ass guitar, bass and drums and there you have it.

This is the first song that I've heard from these boys. Despite having only half-listened to it, I was immediately abducted. And since then, I have remained that way.: I listen to The BEATLES all the time. Except when I listen to them on KZread.

I’ve been listening to the Beatles since about ‘65. It always amazes me what they accomplished with dated equipment and limited technology and still produce great songs. I recognize George Martin was a big part of it.

It's their moment of compositional effervescence, they scavenged one hit after another, and it was somewhat forgotten among so many songs. but that doesn't mean it's not still a gem, right?
