So totally love everything about this clip. The way John, Paul, and George are facing Ringo, the overhead shots, the crowds reaction, some trying to keep the beat, others realizing they're on camera and reacting, John looking nervous but pushing through... The other realization is that this song, like everything else they wrote was so advanced for its time (and now even more so), but its brilliance appears lost on the crowd and the producer's need to showcase the "Beatlemania" of the frenzied fans.

George was a beast. When I was younger his playing went over my head because it wasn't flashy like Paige or the other guitar gods I was into at the time, but damn. Just solid musicianship.

If you ask around, just about every single guitarist who heard him was floored by his skills...from his friends when he was 12-13 to when he first met Paul (and, grudgingly, John...they had to face it that he was the best in the band). Ringo was never a drummer. He is playing a very basic thump thump here. He did not play on the first few singles because he wasnt good enough. They used a session drummer. So much hype over this whiney nasal group.

I will forever be happy that The Beatles is one of my mom’s favorite bands and that I grew up listening to them.

I saw them live on stage at the Castle Ballroom in Banbridge, County Down Northern Ireland when I was 16. The floor was moving with everyone jumping up & down to the music. Great memories. I live in Canada since 1967.

This is the song that carved rock music in my heart and soul. When I was 5-6 years old, I learned to operate the turntable, and I was always going for the Beatles record. When this song was playing I was going insane, running through the corridor, climbing up the couch and jumping down, rolling on the floor. Years later I became a metalhead, I was moshing, stage-diving, headbanging in a very similar way to the times I was listening to this song when I was a child. Now I'm 46 years old, music is still my strongest connection to life, and I think I owe it all to The Beatles.

Man am I the only kid who just loves this? it’s hard to express, the Beatles just sound so good I’ve never met any 14 year old who actually shares my love for not only the Beatles but classic rock as a genre it’s just some of the best music I’ve ever heard especially the Beatles I hav to say probably my all time favorite band.

@@guccimane8398 And you should stop being horrible to fellow fans commenting on Beatles videos. Listen, when I 'discovered' them in 1978, when I was 11, I thought I was the only one too. My class mates all thought I was weird. Liking the Beatles was definitely not cool back then. Now that I'm older, I know that new Beatles fans are born every day. So, no you're certainly not the only one, Nicholas, although sometimes it can feel that way when you're a kid.
