The way Colin Farrell’s done his accent sounds like a subtle homage to Danny Devito’s penguin

Michael Giacchino is going to absolutely kill this movie's score. The Horns really radiate that feeling of rage and anger, along with slightly nodding itself to Danny Elfman's Batman Theme. But God Damn I cannot get over Giacchino's Horns, I have so much praise about it.

If so, Batman’s reaction to that was appropriate.

I was honestly originally disappointed that Riddler wasn't a less serious villain for this movie because Paul Dano could play the Arkham style Riddler well. But now that I'm seeing more of the movie's premise, I am 100% on board. The Riddler being actually threatening and scary, I'm very excited.

The whole chat for dc fandom was so mad that this was at the end they were being so toxic until we got there

The Batman - Early days(20s). Unhinged. Looking for vengeance after parents' death. TDK - Middle years(30s). More composed. Fights for overall justice. BvS - Late years(40s). Brutal. Murders criminals and fights aliens. The Flash - Final days(50-60s). Fights probably to stabilize the multiverse.

A dark, gritty and brutal Batman. This is what we wanted. Although I really wish Robert bulked up a little, because Batman really is a tank of a human being. Being an intimidating jacked as heck bulldozer is a part of his aura and personality. Other than that, looks really good

This is really Year 2 Batman. In his early days, Bruce stayed lean rather than bulky. He used his speed and brutality more than his strength and strategy. As he grew older and slightly slower, he does bulk up a lot. But for this young, ANGRY Batman, I think the look is perfect!

At 6"2 200+ Batman is sposed to be "big" but he doesn't HAVE to be jacked to all hell.. artists have drawn him all kinds of sizes.. this looks alot like Greg capullos early yr2 leaner batman.. plus I like to think this is like a younger version of batfleck (it isn't anymore I know) that gradually gets bulkier as he gets older as alot of men do

I wonder if he looks at every killer as he's parents murderer, like he has to restrain himself from killing them because he knows if he kills one it will be over for them and him. He won't stop at that point. He looks frustrated like he wants to hurt them so badly, more than he needs to to put them down. But he doesnt.

That's Batman in a nutshell. It's the central theme to most of his stories.

Whether the movie turns out to be good or not we will be coming back to both the trailers in future

"Fear is a tool. When that light hits the sky, it's not just a call. It's a warning." That line kinda reminds me of Maul's line from The Clone Wars: "Fear. Fear attracts the fearful, the strong, the weak, the innocent, the corrupt. Fear! Fear is my ally!"

@@AceTheCap823 pretty sure the warehouse scene was very comparable to Arkham Batman. He uses explosive gel to break the ground and disrupt the enemy. Other magnetic devices to disable firearms, batarangs, grapple gun, close quarters combat. It’s is honestly the closest we will get. I do agree Batman didn’t get much to do in ZSJL, but he was dealing with a galactic apocalyptic event where his only useful ability is his mind. I think a true Batman centric film around Batfleck we would get to see even more of his repertoire. Just my opinion.

@@westleystone6577 he did use gadgets in the warehouse scene like the games but it’s not the same, in BvS he used the gadgets prior to entering the fight yes but in the games and (and main DC comics) he uses gadgets in the actual fights to enhance his effectiveness….plus in the Arkham games cut scenes and gameplay, tie in comics, and movie batman is using inhuman acrobatics/agility and combining it with his fighting skills in combat, not to mention he’s strong enough to send dudes flying 20+ ft and swing around multiple men at once like they are weightless….also canonically the games take place over the course of a single night….there’s a very clear difference in strength, speed, stamina, agility, etc between Arkham Batman and Batfleck from what we’ve seen

This movie trailer reminds me of TellTale's Batman game series....... Both the stories are set in the early years of batman, Both focus more on the detective side of Batman, in both of the stories Bruce Wayne's parents are involved in the downfall of the city etc.

Wouldn't it be cool. If Bruce's parents are not only rotten to the core. But that they're involved, with a long-lived secret cabal, working behind the scenes, pulling all the strings, the Court of Owls? I believe once he finds out the horrifying truth. Bruce wont be as angst ridden or fatalistic towards criminals. Then he starts to slowly but surely, become THE BATMAN, we all know and love.

So hyped. Something I didn’t like about the Dark Knight trilogy is it didn’t actually feel like we were in Gotham outside of BB. This legit feels like another world looking at it.

Let’s gooo! super excited for this. I see a combination of all the live action Batman films. The comic book style and uniqueness from Keaton, the badass style from Affleck, and the emotional struggle/balance the character has from Bale. (Hell even the reserved demeanour from Kilmer)

This batman will have you within an inch of you life and tie you in a knot then say "NOW TALK!!"

I think more so Dark Victory than the long holloween. The imagery and Riddler's victims seems to point to that imo. That's not a bad thing, as it's often overlooked and underrated. Also, catwoman is Falconi's daughter in this film, just like in the long holloween/Dark Victory.

If Bruce Wayne here were to fight like Wesley Snipes, it would've been perfect.
