This movie looks spectacular. Riddler cleaning up the filth that is Gotham City. Batman fighting crime while he himself is a criminal. It’s awesome.

Honestly, its definitely looking like maybe the second time in like 10 years a DC movie won't be a dumpster fire hahaha, (the suicide squad was damn good). I'm really stoked for the angle they're taking here, it's a grittier edge to Batman that the eternal edgelord Snyder tried to go for but only achieved a 14 year olds impression of a grimdark hero

Haha I mean that one shot of the times square equivalent has more worldbuilding and connection to the lore than the last 6 movies combined After making darkseid a total goober getting one shot by ares, the lantern core a goofy monkey with pew pew lasers who gets owned, a selfish murder happy Superman.. This is actually the first movie that respects the characters in ages

The Riddler is a genuinely scary villain. Even though we’ve never seen his face in the trailer we know he is intelligent, deceitful and completely in control. It gives me goosebumps ngl.

I was so nervous when Robert Pattinson first got announced as Batman but I've only gotten more and more excited with each trailer I hope he gets to do multiple movies

well the movie is said to have a trilogy, and Pattinson may at least be included in one of the mini series going forward such as the gotham pd, the penguin or catwoman throughout the trilogy.

So happy someone other than me is also happy for the Zero Year adaptation. Also note that many of the easter eggs and clue foreshadow the No Man's Land story as well.

This movie is taking alot of inspiration from the first Batman Telltale game, especially including the sins of Bruce's parents being revealed and playing a key part in the story.

Another interesting detail, the rain below the bridge mirrors the song "Something in the Way" by Nirvana used in the first teaser: "Underneath the bridge the tarp has sprung a leak"

I love how Batman is so gritty and isn’t holding punches, it will make for great second or third movie where criminals are terrified of the Batman and rightfully so. by the end of this movie who knows how many faces and arms he’ll break

Professor Pyg would work so well in this universe he just fits. You could have him in the second one and the third could be Joker for guaranteed money or Mr Freeze for a better story

I really love when the villain has a intricate motives and plans like this and not just mindless destruction. We get see his side of perspective and not just the main heroes. Excited to see this in theaters.

This is the best action has ever looked for Batman on film. It’s so insane what they did with the action sequences and how the camera moves. Love the one-shot action sequences too 🔥

So the Batmobile I think has 2 engines. Twin turbo V8 of some sort at the front, explaining the flames from the wastegates coming out of the hood and the flams coming out of a short exhaust or even the header at the bottom. And the back is a probably some super hero science shit where a car engine and a jet engine has been smooshed together.

I’m usually not a Robert Pattinson fan but I got to say… He really fits this role well and I’m excited to see him knock it out of the park!

The Riddler’s orphanage is exactly like in Arkham Knight where he kidnaps Selina and has the green writing on the wall and everything. This movie looks great.

Can’t wait another 3 months. Most exciting movie of the year for me!

Something I've been thinking about: You mentioned Wayne Terminus was going to be a subway station. What if it was going to be a subway station specifically to Wayne Manor? Maybe as a private station and train, similar to the President's Train. This would better explain the Elevator with the Wayne crest.

this is by far my favorite trailer. they’ve all been great but i love the dynamic between him sulking around as bruce and him being an angry, vengeful monster as batman. this movie is going to be incredible!!!!

@@tangomango2459 i think he means heavy in term of plot/consequences compared to usual superhero movies which with some exception usually a battle. Here is more like covering dirts, not only the murder mystery but also batman's identity. Thats not really fun flick isnt it.

That ejecting the grappling gun from within the sleeve reminds me of “Slick” (Jeff Goldblum) thwipping out a 2-shot .38 special in “Silverado”, a classic western.

This trailer was brilliant but it doesn't even come close to that teaser last year. That trailer was the best I've ever seen.

I've been waiting for this video for so long. I'm super excited for the Batman I need to see it now.

What if the Nashton we see is just a follower of the Riddler as well? That way he stays free the entire time and reveals this final clue at the end of the movie. Pans away from the jail roof over to an adjacent roof, and there is Jim Carey’s Riddler masterminding the entire deal! Lol

Yes Erik you are right about the architecture for that subway platform fight. That platform is here in Chicago and the two trains that pass it go to more economically impoverished areas so I think they were intentionally built that way at some point.

2:03 In this scene. Bruce Wayne drives a 1960s Chevy stingray, The 1989 Batmobile took inspiration from this car.
