if what Rob is saying is right then why did the media not crush Kobe Bryant when he shot 6-24, and like 0-8 from 3 in game 7 against Boston? Is it because his team won on the backs of Pau Gasol and Ron Artest who saved Kobe's legacy? Obviously winning the chip changed the narrative.

You're comparing one game (which literally everyone but Ron artest shot bad in mind you) where he still scored the most points and got 15 boards vs a guy literally playing below his average for a whole series. he's got more game and fundamentals and footwork than Lebron that is why the media doesn't hype him. Lebron has no mid range at all. No back to the basket step back shot from anywhere. lebron has no step back three. Also lebron has a flat broken with bad fundamentals. lebron is better at run out dunks cause he runs faster. too many are enamored by a foot ball player running fast and not real Skill or Smarts. People can say that the reverse sweep will never happen in the NBA, but it will happen one of these days. The reverse sweep in the playoffs happened twice in the NHL in a mere 4 year period and then hasn't happened since for over a decade. Its all about complacency and being mentally weak which results in the dramatic shift in momentum. The reverse sweep also only really happens between huge rivalry opponents like the Yankees vs Red Sox, Bruins vs Flyers, and the Sharks vs Kings. There is no way the Mavericks pull off the reverse sweep here, but in the future it could happen between the Sixers and Celtics or something along those lines. Its bound to eventually happen though so being up 3 and 0 is never a guarantee wrap.

Jordan had Pippen and Rodman but Knicks had 100 All Stars and same with Miami, Indiana, and many other teams. Only Giannis, Kawhi and Jokic for 1 year Carried a Franchise in the last 25 years. Infact I'll say it like this Jordan did it maye 5 times though they were a 50 win team without him still 50 to Ring is a big difference. Duncan did it 1 or 2 times Curry did it in 2015 for sure that was a Pedestrian Roster Kawhi in Toronto, Giannis Jokic That is it in NBA history. Watching the games it's clear to see Tatum gets doubled or tripled when he attempts a drive. More than his teammates do. Yes he's supposed to be their #1 scorer but if that's how the defense approaches Boston's offense then create plays for your teammates, clean up boards and play defense. And that's what Tatum's been doing. You can argue Brown has been a better scorer and defender, but you can't leave out that Tatum grabs more attention from opposing defenses than the rest of Boston does.

Tatum is getting this criticism because he kept dropping words about how he's overlooked and should be MVP yet when you look at his stats he and Brown are pretty much the same guy, yet Brown never says a word and is actually genuinely underrated. Then you get to the playoffs, particularly the Finals, and we see Tatum shrink yet again while Brown is not only better but consistent. You cant ask to be an MVP, practically beg to be the face of the league, and perform like an average player. There's a reason he and Brown are so often compared but only Tatum gets the heat. Hes "the guy" on the Celtics and invites it. We cant just look at the good and overreact to that. It goes both ways. Its dumb but every star player gets this treatment.

If this was Lebron, nobody would be saying: "Well, I mean he's dropping 35 a night so it's not his fault." Y'all would be nit-picking about how he still needs to do something more.

Chandler parsons right on the money. If this was jokic or some other foreign player that yall swear is so much better than American players yall would be praising them. Jason Tatum is playing TEAM winning basketball. Who cares if he shooting 33%. His team is now up 3-0. If they was down 3-0 but he was averaging a 30 point triple double yall would be complaining about him not taking his team over the finish line. Yall don’t have no smoke for Luka being a defensive liability. Most of these foreign players don’t play no defense. How can yall call these players the greatest in the game if they don’t play both sides of the ball. Despite the numbers Luka is putting up offensively he is getting hunted on defense and tbh he is the reason they down 3-0. The Celtics are targeting him and if yall can’t speak on that first it’s no point in speaking on a man when his team up 3-0 in the finals. I really believe Fox is paying yall to bash American players when none of them foreign players play both sides of the ball. Yea all that scoring look good but defense wins championships and other than that one championship from Greek freak(which Kris Middleton was the real factor) and one from jokic(which Jamal Murray was the factor) what real factor has these players played in the league besides looking pretty offensively
