If you think about it, Rhaenyra did sacrifice, she could've gone off with Ser Criston, but she didn't..and birthed children when she didn't want to. It was Alicent who first betrayed/lied to Rhaenyra, she knew would wed the King sneaking into his room everyday..never even told her best friend "Hey I'm seducing your father so I can marry him..." LOL bunkers

@@sandyenriq1991 I'm team black, but I can understand Alicent when she says that, she fulfilled her duty to her father and house, she sacrificed her own wants and desires, while Rhanerya has basically been able to do what she wants and get away with it. Even if Rhanerya wasn't the heir she wouldn't have ran away with Ser Criston simply because she didn't love him that much, so that wasn't a sacrifice. She thought she would have to sacrifice when she married Laenor but she got lucky with their arrangement, she had children but they are quite clearly illegitimate. Alicent is frustrated but because of Otto manipulating her she believes that Rhaenyra is putting herself above the rules and will continue to do so at any cost, when in reality Rhanerya is not trying to he malicious, she's trying to be happy, essentially have her cake and eat it, but somewhere in the midst of it all, she's lost control of the situation, the problem is Alicent is too far gone and cannot see pass her father's scheming otherwise she would see that Rhaenyra is scared for her children and is desperately trying to right her wrongs to no avail, because every effort on her end to squash the beef and unite the family has been rejected.

Everyone keeps forgetting that THE REALM will not accept Rhaenyra. Not matter what / who King Viserys wants to rule after he is dead. Once his casket drops... the Iron Throne is up for grabs. NOBODY is going to honor his wishes to have Rhaenyra rule. So Allicent isn't wrong. She has stayed FAITHFUL to Viserys for all these years. And gave him 2 male sons to carry on the Targaryen legacy. Meanwhile, Rhaenyra has been a Royal Thot. Just bed-hopping... like a groupie waiting for Captain Save-A-Hoe (aka Daemond) to come and clean up her messy life. She has no sense of duty or honor. She takes zero accountability for her own actions. She is only loyal to her own whims, which change from day to day... like the wind. And her 'Big plan" is to rule by fear & fire?? She sounds like the Mad King in the making. Just worse.

Just tired and frustrated with all the R/D fans defending the blacks wrongdoings for wrong/unjustified reasons. But hey, that's what makes this show so good and popular, I guess. Fantastic acting from both sides, making people have polarizing views.

Honestly, how did they not get it? Daemon specifically told Laenor's lover that there was a place across the Narrow Sea where people didn't care about titles or anything else, only money, and said to make sure there were witnesses to Laenor being supposedly killed. They couldn't have telegraphed that any clearer aside from screaming "FAKE HIS DEATH". LOL.

It's actually a plot hole and don't make any sense cuz of things : 1. That make daemon and rhaenyra marriage isn't legitimate since laenor still alive. 2. What will happen to seasmoke cuz we know dragon/rider bond don't end until the rider dies. 3.he died in the books.

@@orbboom6119 In the books the Valeryons are valyrians, so they have pale skin, silvery hair, I think blue rather than violet eyes. That's one of the reasons they are so envious of Targaryen power, because they are just as valyrian, but happen to not have dragons, so they're only ever 2nd best behind the Targs. And that's why the hair colour is a big give-away ... both parents are pale, violet/blue-eyed with silvery/light gold hair, and the boys have dark brown hair, it's basically like in GoT when Joffrey didn't have the Baratheon hair colour.

Viserys is the most normal person in this family. He just wants peace and see everyone get along. He’s kind. Maybe not fit to be king, but definitely a loving father/grandfather. Even with Alicent, he gave her a lot of free pass. Even if she only see how Rhaenyra is spoiled, but she’s also, she just can’t see it.

I think a lot of relief was mixed into Otto’s confidence. Without Vhagar, the greens were probably the underdog. Having the largest living dragon in the world evens the odds a bit.

When everyone thought Rhaenyra had ordered Laenor’s death, the look on that young Asian woman’s face was priceless. She had steam coming off her head and she looked like she was about to throw hands at someone, for real.

As Laenor once said, the wise Sailor leaves before the storm comes

Larys energy: "You want a toe? I can get you a toe, believe me. There are ways, Dude"

Honestly I understand Alicent’s outburst, when you’re being Gaslit by everyone thats all going to explode eventually

There can not be any better lines than what Rhaenyra said. “Exhausting wasn’t it? Hiding beneath the cloak of your own righteousness, but now they see you as you’re” Peak dialogue. Period

I think Alicent’s point was that Rhaenyra’s entitlement and attitude that she can always do whatever she wants with no consequences has been passed down to her sons and that’s why her son has only one eye, now. And, in a way, she’s not wrong. None of the kids should have been fighting, and Aemon wasn’t even the one who hit first, but Jace did up the ante by pulling his knife. He could have made another choice, like - I don’t know - getting an adult.

Daemon and Laenor had the right idea. Finding some place across the Narrow Sea to get away from this family madness was the right call

I was thinking Laenor proposed to die in the battlefield so she could re-marry. and Daemon got better idea.

I think Alicent just got fed up with Rhynearas lies in the eye for an eye scene. Rhyneara wanted Alicents kids punished for spreading the "lies" about her own kids legitimacy knowing full well that they are the truth. The level of ego and arrogance to ask your daddy to punish his kids for spreading the truth. Alicent just got fed up with the phony bullshit.

I loved how relief everyone looked when Laenor appeared at the end.

Captain America has once again been shook by the absolute madness of this episode xD. Morgan's and Dustin's reaction to this is always great. Can't wait for more.

It's so satisfying how everyone cheered when they showed Laenor alive with bald hair. It's so wholesome, knowing that Rhaenyra and Daemon did it, although I'm still sad Daemon get to kill Laenor's guard.

Aemond targaryen: 1.Claim the biggest dragon and get the best flight scene . 2.Beat the sht out of 4 kids trying to bully him. 3.End the conflict by being more wise than adults "it was a fair exchange" Definitely shaping up to my favorite alongside with daemon.

In the story Aemond is older than Rhaenyra’s sons and Daemon’s daughters. Also obviously more trained. Of course he will beat the sht out them, especially Luke who’s basically a baby. At first they just fought like any others kids. But Aemond started with the rock almost threatening to kill Luke. That’s how the real sht went down. So I don’t understand how people think he’s the victim when he started all of this.

It was more to advance how Ser Qarl was able to enter Laenor's fathers hall unchallenged. 'Who let you in here? Why are you in my father's hall?' Even being Laenor's lover, Qarl wouldn't have permission to enter the chambers of the Lord of Driftmark on his own. When they pulled the body out of the fireplace and showed his burnt face, then I knew. But it made the twist at the end enjoyable. I'm glad that he didn't die. I feel so bad for his mother though.

I love how are the very end you can hear Morgan say "I want to see the death!" Hahahaha!! They totally got me with this one!

That “where is duty, where is sacrifice” scene…Olivia Cooke doing some Dinklage level lifting there. The agony, the passion! That’s a Emmy nomination scene. “We Know Father. Everyone Knows”. That’s Aegon’s “the Prince will remember that little Lord” moment. Aemond taming Vhagar & holding his own in a 1v4 makes him the real chad in my eyes. Only wholesome moment, our Prince resting his head on his mom’s shoulder to let her know she can depend on him. Last but not least, GOATTO Hightower says “in time you and I together will prevail” and I’m the meme of Homer Simpson decked out in a green tee, sitting on green cushions, wearing a Hightower snapback, holding a Go Greens flag with a Alicent poster on the wall😂. Meanwhile checking in on Blacks: “What is honor compared to a woman’s uncle” - Maester Aemon 😳

This scene is very similar to the scene when Joffrey was injured by Nymeria and Cersei also said that this is not enough.

Rhaenyra is grey, Alicent is grey. both have their flaws, if you are team black even after knowing rhaenyra's flaws then i respect you, if you are team green even after knowing alicent's flaws then i respect you too, but don't come here and say that you are team black cuz rhaenyra is the hero of the story and that rhaenyra is good and alicent is evil/bad, they both have done mistakes and will do more mistakes in the future. I personally enjoy watching the show from the neutral view, it's more enjoyable and you can learn a lot from this show.
