Yip the little lizard sealed his fate …I think this scene did a lot to remind people that dragons “aren’t pets that obey a master” but their instinct eventually takes over and the rest is history.

I loved the way Lucerys reassured Arrax before flying in the storm, his valyrian was so good to listen. The young actor did a great job 😊

Allicent was the one stopping Otto and the Council from simply just assassinating her before any news could reach her... And did they really steal the iron throne from her? It is Viserys to blame for never telling anybody but Rhenyra about the song of ice and fire, thus it is only logical for Allicent to think that Viserys death wish was for Aegon to become king. And it wasn't on 'the Greens' that Luke got killed. It was terrible weather for dragon flight since they could barely talk to their dragons without screaming and they both obviously had no control over them. It is a terrible accident. The problem is a huge lack of communication and taking stupid actions without thinking them through...

Shout out to Lucerys for putting that bass in his voice when greeting the soldiers at Storms End.

Last scene was created by Matt Smith Emma: "It was Matt Smith, in a turn of fucking genius, who offered the idea that Daemon should give Rhaenyra the news while we're both walking away from camera, towards the fireplace.” The scene was longer and it showed Daemon reciving the news and procesing them and we follow him as he is suffering and deciding how to break it to Rhaenyra (that part got cut along with many his other scenes this ep but the end remained)

They could see something falling out of the sky and fall to the water and when Aemond returns to Storms End its not hard to figure out what happens. Lucerys body washes ashore three days later and while Boros pledged to Aegon, there are people still loyal to Rhaenyra, who sent word of his death.

A lot of movies and television shows before can easily jump to next scenes without having to explain what happens in-between because writers/directors correctly assume that audiences are smart enough to imagine what transpires in the unshown scenes. Now we have audiences like this that can't imagine and needs everything to the T be spelled to them or else the show is "ruined".

She's a book reader & it honestly is so hard for myself to watch sometimes like with Luke. He was so ready to prove to himself & his mom that he could accomplish this task & maybe future ones so it could show that he can be the heir to Driftmark. In the books we don't get as much 1-on-1 time with Luke & Rhaenyra

Even if you haven't read the book it's asoiaf. It's the last episode and a major death didn't occur in episode 9. When Luc went above the clouds into the calm anyone with half a brain should have saw what was coming. It's just TV 101. These guys were cheering like he was really going to get away.

This scene where rhaenyra gets the news of her baby dead hits diffrent! And the transition from being sad to mad and angry fits her so well as arya once said about cersei's reaction to joffrey's death that she wont be just sad and keep crying, no she would be angry and would want to kill the person who did this to her, it's war, the greens removed any kindness left inside rhae by touching her kid, now a monster is created.

The sad part is, that all of this is happening because of misunderstandings, accidents, and everyone acting too fast without communication. And mostly Viserys not telling anybody about the Song of Ice and Fire but Rhaenyra... like seriously... people have their ancient prophecies on wallcarpets or huge stained glass windows... or at least writiten down SOMEWHERE... Wihtout that knowledge and Allicent only knowing one Aegon you can't really blame her for thinking it was viserys death wish for their son to claim the throne... And Mr.I-Got-A-Huge-Dragon most likely just wanted to to teach Rhaenyras son a lesson/scare/bully him like they did with him.... too bad that dragons are wild beasts and not easily controlled...

Omg that one woman screaming at everything drove me crazy!

Matt Smith creating scenes like the last one is what makes him perfect for this show. And the depth he gives to Daemon is everything. Even tho just this ep his scenes such as him coming to room after Rhaenyra gave birth and comfort her, his much longer grieving scene on the beach, him and Jace talking were all cut he himself makes such a great scene for the end I wish we got the longer version (that was also cut) of the last scene where we also see Daemons face when he finds out and then follow him a little longer as he walks to Rhaenyra not knowing how to break it to her. Both of them in their own world suffering at that moment ignoring the full room. Rhaenyra's face was everything

If you think about it, Daemon probably got that song from his grandfather, Jahaerys, considering that was his dragon. He probably heard his grandfather sing it to the dragon before and knew it would respond to it after not hearing it for likely many years.

@@Steph-yz4tn First of all I don't believe you are allowed to have setting where you are watching something that is premium channel shown in a public setting unless you pay for it. This bar is invite only thus how the avoid it. So yes he can ban her, if he wants.

Loving the fact that the bar has been getting busier week by week. Seems like House of the Dragon did the near-impossible and has completely brought back the Game of Thrones buzz.

Also the writters saying that they decide to have Daemon and Rhaenyra grieve the lost of the baby separately at the begining of the ep and Luke's one together holding hands is to show that they were on different sides at beging regarding what to do about greens and ruling and in the end they are on the same terms and want the same. Ready to fight Greens 🔥

Viserys thought his was a good omen that he would finally have a son but it was dire warning of doom. It was a nightmare about his son stealing the crown and throne which caused a massive war that almost destroys House Targaryen, his family and the realm. His son was never supposed to sit on that throne and the Hightowers were never supposed to rule

Love when Vhagar suddenly appears out of the clouds everyone gets a fright but the women in black and white hair at the front instantly leans forwards and braces, knowing that the mother of all screams from the women behind her is coming.

There no funnier reaction than the intoxicated NPCs in the back, thinking Arrax attacking Vhagar was a good thing and that they actually escaped.. the screaming shortly after made it that much better! Everything about it was gold

You could really tell the book-readers during the storm chase sequence. They knew not to get to excited when Arrax went through the canyon.

The way everyone screams in horror during The Bite and Morgan just throws up her hands like “Welp, there it is.”

I feel like 90% of the people there in that bar pay no attention to story and are only there to cheer and laugh

That’s the thing I’ve learned in this show. Everyone has a share of their own evil doings and motives. Nobody is ever good or ever bad. That’s why I don’t side with anyone in this show because everyone was a villain in their own way unlike in GoT where I kept on siding with the starks because obviously they’re most afflicted and the ones who’s gained lots of knowledge and experience from what they’ve been through, and so they have the wisdom and the honor of the heroes. Honestly it’s the very reason why I liked HOTD since everyone is gray. Although the last episode got me thinking which side should I choose HAHAHAHA but don’t want to get myself disappointed so I’m siding with no one in this show.

I enjoyed watching the scenes again with the bar’s reaction more than watching it by myself. I’ve had fun and looking forward to the upcoming seasons.

Morgan’s face from the moment Luke and Rhaenyra said goodbye was priceless, and makes me glad I don’t know a damn thing about what happens. Ignorance is bliss and all that.

If you listen carefully you can hear Vhagar roar, "AWWW HEEEEELLLLLLL NAAW!", when Arrax flamed her.

Alyssant is likely gonna be pissed about Luke's death too, and she will know that her attempts to offer peace will be for nothing now.

I love that you can see on the green-haired girl, that she already knew what would happen to Lucerys when they spoke about being messengers on their dragon.

This episode, this SEASON, was EPIC! It gave me everything I needed and MORE!

It was awesome to be back in the bar, again! I look forward to the next season.

I work with someone who absolutely loves this series. I told him about catching Game of Thrones via this video of reaction videos at a bar and that I'd seek that out on youtube to follow this prequel series. Luckily, I found this and thank you for posting these videos. I wish there was something like this for The Walking Dead where I could attend and watch with such a great group of like-fans. I just subscribed and look forward to sharing my co-worker's love of this series as I've been without cable for a year and HBO for four decades. Kudos to this bar for hosting these viewings, too.

Rhae's angry face at the end reminded me of Danny when she turned mad. The look on their faces and the change of personality is the equivalent to an uchiha witnessing the death of a loved one. I've already read the books but I still can't wait to see the dance of the dragons. Next season will be dope af, brace yourselves.

When Lucerys and Arrax set off from Dragonstone, the alternate version of Dance of Dragons playing was both beautiful and eerie. It showed us the beauty of this family working together while also letting us know that the dance/doom was about to begin.

I love those quiet, discretly smiling faces of people knowing what's coming next

What a season. Overall I'm not mad at it. I think they got me properly hooked into this universe. It wasn't perfect but I think the quality of acting really makes up for it. I like that it's focused on this single family. I am so sad for my baby Lucerys and Arrax though. Season 2 is going to be a lot of fun and I can't wait.
