Interesting. The Banana Wars happened the same year the Spanish-American War took place in 1898.
"They also helped with disease control while killing thousands of rebels" Did you mean for those two statements to sound like they were connected? ARE they connected?
That is where the phrase; "All wars are bankers wars" came from.
