About the Mod:
MK1212 Campaign Open Alpha:
It's been over 5 years in the making across 2 games, but the Medieval Kingdoms 1212 campaign is finally available to all! Our Open Alpha phase starts today. The campaign as it stands is obviously in an incomplete state, missing technologies, naval units, and mercenaries, though we have plans to add much content in the near future. It currently includes 57 playable factions and various scripted mechanics, such as population and a pope system. The campaign release is also accompanied by a great deal of new content in the form of new factions and units, as well as revamped rosters for preexisting factions.
Campaign Features:
57 playable campaign factions.
Completely custom building chains.
Single region provinces, where every region on the map has 6 slots.
Over 4,000 beautifully modeled and period-accurate units (
Optional music mod.
Optional UI sound effect replacement mod
Three Tier Unit Upgrade System based on the three centuries this mod covers (13th, 14th, and 15th Century)
10 Building Slots per Settlement: No longer your cities be limited to 6 or 4 buildings.

    Hermann got a vision of his future from the previous campaign. This is him being more proactive and taking things more into his own hands, especially with not choosing Wido as his governor.

    Hello friend. good game, and good battles too. just a suggestion or two if I may: first: about your capital: I think that you should convert the ''teutonic order priory'' in there to a regular church (the one that allows you to recruit priests) for many reasons, one of these reasons is that you need more public order in your capital and more religious conversion in there, also your capital have a very low population which is not ideal as a center of recruitments, also when you start expanding to the east: it's better that you will be able to recruit priests from your capital near the front lines than to recruit priests from all the way over in Denmark, also should you decide to convert your capital to a ''walled city'': the regular church will still have enough religious conversion in the city and more public order too, and a quick way to convert the church in your capital: just dismantle the ''teutonic order priory'' to a level 1 church and with the money that you will get from the dismantling: you upgrade the church in your capital to a level 2 regular church, and you can build a ''teutonic order priory '' in the coastal city of Pomerania since it have a large populatuin for future recruitment, and about Denmark: just recruit a priest from there, and then dismantle the church to level one, and then upgrade it to a monastery (the church that gives you the wine resource): of course that if you want to convert the church in Denmark and not keep it the way it is. second: I believe Sweden will lose their city to Denmark, and even if they don't: you can always betray Sweden and take their city for yourself, and about Denmark: their city to the north doesn't belong to the HRE, so you can take it without a risk, and about their two other cities (the city of Hamburg and the other coastal city): if you attack one of those two cities: instead of capturing the city: you can liberate the city to a new HRE faction, and then you can capture the other city and offer it to this newly liberated HRE faction, and like that: you will not be considered as taking a land from the HRE: the liberated faction will have a very good diplomatic relations with you, and you can even make them your allies, so they will be a good buffer zone between you and the other HRE factions. and finally, good luck.

    When I have recruited my army, I convert the Teutonic Church into a priory. Helps with public order.

    Theres always an advantage of the diplo loophole when it comes to declaring war. If you offered to join the Yotvingians in their war against pomerania, that wouldnt pull in Denmark and i believe it also nullifies the trustworthiness debuff you get by declaring war on a nation you recently broke treaties with.

    I really enjoyed the first episode of the campaign, you're also expanding alot faster than before which is going to kickstart your economy alot faster that before. So i'm looking forward to the next couple of episodes to see where you'll go from here. Maybe wait before you attack Sweden, it wouldn't surprise me if they choose to attack you instead.

    As far as I know what you call "Russia" is historicly region of Kyivan Rus and Lithuania as bordering state. "Russia" didn't exist at that time period. Even the Kyivan Rus state are divided becaue of internal problems/Mongols. So my humble request to you is that if you play in Eastern Europe in Medival times don't call the Rus and the Baltics "Russia"
