Might be a good idea to instead focus on the Northern section of land that Dorwinion has. That way you can hit Dale and Erebor from the backlines and surround the Woodland Realm.

Hello friend. good game, and good battles, too. just a few small suggestions if I may: first: I think you should assist your ally Antioch, either by helping them against the Latin empire, or start expanding east and take your share of the Persian lands: the factions south of Egypt can wait, because they are not a threat to you right now, and you have good diplomatic relations with them. second: if you want more trade with other catholic faction: here is a brilliant idea: send one of your spies to the far north where the Teutonic order's starting position on the map: if you manage to discover the Teutonic order or the Scandinavian factions and make a trade agreement with one of them: that will open a trade route from your capital all the way to the north: if that happens: that will allow you to discover England, France and all available factions for trade on that trade route, which means more trade agreements of course. third: about your next faction to try in this 1212 AD: I believe that you will make another pole, but if not: let me suggest this: all the factions that you tried in this 1212 AD mod were practically on the east side of the map ( empire of Nicaea, Teutonic order, kingdom of Jerusalem), so I think that you should try a starting position on the west side of the campaign, actually: I suggested before that you try the Marinid Sultanate faction: it is a muslim faction in the worth west of Africa: they have excellent tribal units (they even have their own late tier tribal gunner units), they have multiple approaches for expanding, and there is a lot to talk about the Marinid Sultanate faction, but that could be later should you choose to try this faction. and finally, good luck.
I would suggest if that ok with you to start a campaign with any orthodox religion but play only with the Armenian military. Like the Armenian heavy knights and swordman and stuff. 😊😊😊
I don't know anything about the Tamerlane invasion but why go further east closer to where he appears?
Ramp just so you are aware when you group your units and attack a unit they will group attack what's in front of them not what you tell them to attack. so with archers it's always best to leave them not in a group when trying to focus down a single unit

I think it would be cool to see you play an Islamic faction for your next campaign. I recommend the Ghurid Sultanate. All-round good units: decent infantry and cav, and they have elephant units. Plus, you could reconstitute the Persian Empire!

Hey there ramp, IIRC the Lazarus techs(rather the later parts of its developments) are not found in the arms category of the research, they're at the civic allocations now. The level 4 building for the Lazarus Knights are found in the Quarantine protocol in the civic research group, this will essentially become a hospital and will provide the necessary upgrades to your knights of that order. Aside from the building itself, I think this will also give a flat bonus of 50% boost to sanitation buildings factionwide or nearby provinces. Really helpful for the black death and some epidemics later on the game

YESS! The Outremer! you'd be surprised with the new troops around, especially the late high order troops!
I think for your next 1212 playthrough you should play as the Khazar Khaganate; convert them to Judaism - which they did in real life in a case of religious anomaly- and wage war against the Muslim factions in revenge for the Arab- Khazar wars which took place in the 7th and 8th centuries. Just a suggestion but it could be interesting.

Oh once I get the vampire corruption to max I always want to switch to that one. I just default to the corruption one first.

Pretty much. With how high corruption can get just because of imperium level I didn't try and mess with it as much.
Speaking of which, would be good fun to do a 40k dark crusade campaign, not sure many more than I would watch tho
