It was The Ballard of Big Al that made Allosaurs my all time favourite Dinosaur.
This film was my (very early) childhood. I remember watching it over and over on VHS

yayyy HodgePodge! i pause and rewatched the Diplodocus chase scene. Definitely has a Star Wars feel, you almost want to ask the animators if they've done a crude mod with X-wings instead of allosaurs and those robot elephants for diplodocuses. ...diplodoci??? great job!
