I think the differences in the biomes of the Djadochta and Nemegt Formation make sense when you consider the differences in the sizes of their respective dinosaur fauna. In the Djadochta Formation, most of the dinosaurs were small, with a few medium-sized ones, while the dinosaurs of the Nemegt Formation were much larger. A desert biome wouldn't have been able to support large herbivores, such as Therizinosaurus, Saurolophus, and Opisthocoelicaudia, so it makes sense that Nemegt would have been more forested and humid. What do you think?

Prehistoric Planet had a similar problem with mixing the Djadokhta and Nemegt Formations. They show inhabitants of the Nemegt Formation, such as Tarbosaurus, Barsboldia, and Nemegtosaurus, living in a desert, which is more akin to Djadokhta. The Nemegt was a more humid and lush environment, Interspersed with rivers and covered in Araucaria forests. Admittedly, the scene IS set in a drought, so the desert setting is not impossible, but I would have used that for Djadokhta.

We DO have evidence of feathers in Velociraptor, as paleontologists discovered quill knobs on its arms bones, which would have anchored avian-like wing feathers in life. Also, even if Velociraptor had eyes well adapted for nocturnal hunting, much like modern nocturnal hunters such as felids or foxes, there would be no reason for it not to hunt in the daytime as well if an opportunity presented itself.

Velociraptor is not found in the Nemegt Formation, but one Dromaeosaur was found in the Nemegt Formation is "Adasaurus mongoliensis."

The Walking With series was such a vibe, it's a shame almost all things to follow it just never actually TRIED, choosing to make monster shows rather than actually informative documentaries

In defense of the Therizinosaurus twist you mention at 2:18, back then therizinosaurs weren't as well known as they are today, so in 2002 the reveal was a genuinely shocking plot twist.

On protoceratops, I don’t think it’s quite as accurate as you might say, their tail in particular is too small and sloped down more than it should be

The Saurolophus' skull should also form a slightly more triangular shape instead of a rectangular shape like Edmontosaurus annectens.

Actually the protoceratops is very inaccurate. The animal is far too squat and round wheras the real animal was slim and had long legs, not triceratops like feet. Also the tail is far too small and limpy. The jaws of the proto is oddly shaped and not as heavily built. But i do like they siad it had a bone crushing bite.
