Might I ask you a question? Will your understanding of the verses of the Quran be in any way greatly impacted by _"reciting the Quran in the Sunni/Shiite/Sectarian approved sing-song melody?"_ Or, would you understand the Quran better if you "sang" it the approved way of Sunni of Maliki madhab instead of the approved way of the Shiites? peace to the world.

How did you come to the conclusion that _"his is an excellent approach to the study of the Quran?"_ How do you know which is _"an excellent"_ and which is _"not so excellent"_ approaches to study the Quran? Since you give the impression that you are able to identify _"an excellent approach to study the Quran"_ does this mean that you now understand the Quran? peace to the world.

why were those who did not desire for an eternal life kicked out of paradise? thats unfair

All people come to this world to live for a limited time as a result of disobeying Allah so it’s not unfair. One group of people repented in order to have an eternal life once this life is over and it was granted as such through the voluntary covenant.

@@Connect_Quran what sin did other group did? so are those who were in the second group , required to follow the rules of quran ? how do i know which group do i belong? if i could know, then there isn't any need to follow any rules, because anyway such ones will be given death after this life , so that they can enjoy the maximum and do what they want, instead of living a life full of restrictions and then finally coming to know that they were in the other category who wont be given any jannah...but , instead of saying this interpretation in brackets, where does it directly say there are two types of groups ? its all interpretation.

Let me repeat one last time, “everyone did the same sin, they disobeyed Allah” If you have ability to actively or passively receive information and overturn a perception, you have the covenant. Last part, Qur’an is concisely worded and profoundly meaning book so it makes things clear and then doesn’t state the obvious. That’s why it encourages to reflect over and over again. Hope it helps.

@@Connect_QuranI have proofs too, for instance, 2:61 used the same word “هبط” + Misra” for people of Musa to descend at Misr if they want what they were seeking. Now, same word “ihbitu” was used for Adam and his Zawj (companion) to descend on Earth. If you consider descending on Earth is from 5th heaven then where does people of Moses were living who were suggested to descend into Misr (where they in the parallel (Egypt) of alternate Earth? Ihbitu used for stepping down from a ride with luggage and caravan. Kisi jagah per “utarna” literally means to land on to a place using camel, horse, (plane, train, bus, car) for modern vehicles. Ihbitu doesn’t mean to come down from one dimension into another.

@@Connect_Quran the term Earth in English is used for planet Earth but in Quran “ard” can be used for small piece of land too. There are several ayaath in Quran where the term “ard” is used for specific piece of Earth/ land and not for complete planet. For instance. “Fasad fil ard” perpetrated by some archetypical characters in Quran like “Pharoah” and unnamed evil characters often a group who were involved in “fasad fil Ard” that doesn’t mean there was fasad on whole planet.

@@Connect_Quran also “zawj” is masculine term in the Quran and it doesn’t mean spouse or wife. Zawj of Adam is not necessarily his wife. In the Adam’s story, Shaitan & iblis, Malaikah were adjectives or qualities of specific groups of people rather than any supernatural beings. Infact, Adam himself is a quality but not a specific personality in the Quran. You pointed out there is a possibility of some human beings to be categorized as Shaitan then why not human beings be categorized as Malaikah? Adam, Shaitan, Iblis, and Malaikah were not names but they are qualities of people and groups of people.

No offence to you but being rigid with words meaning instead of letting the context dictate how a word is used is the biggest obstacle to understanding the Quran. We should never try to find the meaning of the word for verse 2: 38 from verse 2: 61. The same word is used in different contexts so may not give the same meaning. However, In this specific example the essence is same which is “downgrading”. In verse 2:38, this downgrading took the form of moving from the lowest level paradise to this earth (physical) + moving from more privileged to less privileged place (state). In verse 2: 61, this downgrading took the form of moving from upland to low land (physical) + moving from special food to trivial food (state). Hope it helps.

It is evidently clear that you have been reading too many Marvel Comics when you talk about _"multiverse, parallel universe, supernatural beings'_ and multi-paradises! When you change and twist the meaning of words... then you can turn A Book of Guidance & Wisdom into a Book of Science Fiction and Fairy Tales. peace to the world.

You will come to the stark realization that you have been misled & misguided when you try to _fit in your narrative_ to the verses of the Quran. For example, at the 14:42 mark you have your translation & interpretation of Al-Baqarah (2:25-29) and you wrote, _"An affirmed covenant with Allah... and they will be rewarded in the Hereafter based on their PERFORMANCE."_ Okay, to keep this short, let us just focus on the word you used at the end, i.e. PERFORMANCE. What is a PERFORMANCE? i. ) an act of presenting a play, concert, or other form of entertainment. ii.) the action or process of performing a task or function. It is beyond any shadow of doubt that "performance is script-based!" In other words, a performance must be in accordance with the script that has been written up for you ! Now, the billion dollar question is: WHO wrote that script for you? Did God command you to PERFORM the 5 daily ritual Salat/Namaz? Or, was it just invented lies by your revered religious scholars? And, who wrote the script for you to _"keep long beards?"_ In case you haven't realize it yet... whenever you try to change the meaning of even a single word... your entire belief system goes ASTRAY. peace to the world.

Interesting, I have reached a similar conclusion months ago, I would like to have a chat with you, to share a few researches of mine regarding the meaning of certain Qur'anic terms. As of now, I do not have enough colleagues to share my understanding with, I'm trying to conquer my biases as I'm seeking the true meaning, I for certainly know that whatever I was indoctrinated to believe in since childhood was nothing but a lie. I have a plan to be on a mission to create an alliance of critical thinkers who critique all the traditional as well as modern interpretations of the Qur'an, so that we can aid each other in detecting the flaws in our perception of the verses, so that we can get out the rabbit hole before we reach the wrong place. Peace to you and the world.
