Quran's Interpretation: Thinking Outside the Box?

Typically, we read books that are in a specific order from beginning to end i.e., there is a logical sequence of ideas at higher levels (e.g., chapters, sections, sub-sections, paragraphs), and a strong cohesion or clear connection of ideas at the lower levels (e.g., sentences). But when it comes to the Holy Quran, there doesn't seem to be a chronological order, which may be confusing for the novice readers, especially if they read the Quran at a glance. We know that Quran was revealed in a different order than what we have today but have you ever wondered if Quran is organized in a specific order? Unfortunately, there has only been a few efforts to explore the structure of the Holy Quran despite the following questions are being asked over and over again:
Why Quran isn't in chronological order? Or
Why does the Quran seem jumbled?
What if I tell you that the apparent jumbling nature of the Holy Quran is actually a proof of its divine nature and demonstration that how Quran is a miracle? Yes, you heard it right! Our reflection upon Quran may actually help us discover a miraculous structural framework of the Holy Quran that is well beyond human styles, imaginations, and abilities and this structure completely takes away the apparent jumbling nature of the Holy Quran with it. This video provides evidence that Quran must have an organized structure; identifies the dire need for exploring, understanding, and utilizing the structural framework of the Holy Quran for its interpretation; explains the miraculously organized structure of the Holy Quran; and highlights the two essential skills that are required to interpret and understand the Glorious Quran (Please ignore any typos or spelling mistakes!).

16:31 , mostly people think that they are following sunnah in their day to day lifestyle, like saying alhumadulillah, saying prayers before entering or leaving the house, doing gargling after meal, in namaz, and many more things.

👍 salaam and thanks for your email. This is very interesting, but your presentation is very theoretical. Will there be a follow up video which gives examples of these structures? Thsnks

W Salam brother. Thank you for your time and feedback. It’s an excellent observation and it could have been nice to include some examples. Regardless, I have already started to interpret the Quran based on its structure on this channel e.g., Surah Al-Fatiha >> “An ultimate guide….”. In Sha Allah, I will post first Section of Surah Al-Baqara on this weekend which will provide an example of a combined Section with patterns.

Excellent brother! May Allah bless you. You have a soothing voice while reciting mashaAllah and I have subscribed. The Qur'an covers multiple topics and subjects throughout the text. For example, if we wanted to get a divorce from our partner, logically we would go to the Sura called 'Talaq'. However, we can also find information regarding divorce & marriage in other Sura's as well. The wisdom in this is that Allah wants us to study the Qur'an in it's entirety and not just rely on a few verses or chapters. Otherwise, we would only go to that specific Sura, read it, and then put the Qur'an away. That's not how this magnificient scripture works! Another example is when I had a question or a doubt about something. I would be reading the Qur'an one day and then read a verse which reveals the answer to a question or doubt I had in my mind 6 months ago. I'd be like: "wow! There it is!" Keep up the great work akhi 😊 Peace, Nej

Thank you Nej for your kind words, much appreciated! You have an excellent observation regarding the element of surprise in it and I totally agree that Quran must be studied and understood in its entirety.

Thank you for your suggestion. One word can refer to many different things and the appropriate meaning really depends upon the context. For example, the word Al-Kitab could refer to "the Quran" or to a "previous scripture", or to "criteria" or to "rules and regulations" so don't consider that words have static meanings in Quran and 1 meaning in a given verse could not be applied to all verses. I will In Sha Allah provide interpretation of the Quran on this channel and you will be able to observe this.

Yes, that's because different aspects are addressed at different places. For example, Ulul-Ilm may refer to "knowledgeable people - those people who have factual information" whereas Ulul-Albab may refer to "farsighted or visionary people - those people who are using this knowledge in their best interest". For example, let's say person X gave loan to person Y, and after realizing ongoing difficult financial situation of person Y, person X decides to turn their loan into charity while seeking its reward from Allah in the Hereafter so person X utilized their knowledge to transform into a farsighted person. This is just hypothetical, and the context help us understand how and why these different words are used at different places in the Quran. Hope it helps.

As-salaamu Alaykum brother, the people who wrote verses of Qur'an as they were revealed also wrote the teaching and sayings of Muhammad ﷺ. Hadith were not compiled hundreds of years later. And this is proven with evidence. Muhammad was the living manifestation of the Qur'an, therefore what he said, approved of and did is a very intergral part of following the Qur'an. He is guided by and protected by Allah. There's alot that can be said, I know you may disagree with this with your Qur'an only stance. But I urge you to look at the history of the Qur'an itself and how it was not only preserved in writing but mainly orally. There have been many recent debates with Qur'an only I know they get heated, but please a look at evidence provided. Please do not take offence, my message is sincere. If wish to ingore, that's fine. I don't wish to debate.
