Rachel has repeatedly talked about wanting a proposal, marriage and kids. She’s kept saying how she’s ready for all this now, and for the next step. But now suddenly a proposal simply means “cultivating a relationship”? She keeps saying she doesn’t just want to date, but I don’t understand why her definition of an engagement is any different than dating - except that she can say she is engaged, which seems pointless. If an engagement involves saying “yes, I’ll marry you”, then I don’t see her rationale here. Plus, her “definition” means that she and Peter are actually on the same page - neither one feels that they are ready to commit to marry the other one at this point, just that they want a fully committed, serious relationship headed towards marriage. I’m honestly so incredibly confused by Rachel at this point.

You'll notice a pattern in every scripted show where the characters are given 2 horrible options. Like Door #1- The bad guy is gonna kill all your friends, and Door #2- The bad guy is gonna kill you. They fret and fret and then the answer is "Secret door number 3:" Kill the bad guy first. When Peter was talking to Rachel, they had only Door #1- Propose, and Door #2- Don't propose/ break up. I kept yelling at the screen "Secret door number 3, Peter! Secret door #3! How about a PROMISE RING?!?! Or propose with the caveat that it means a 'bachelor proposal' and not a real proposal? That's what Rachel's saying anyway. Do SOMETHING to keep her!" Ugh, he was killing me! Which is why I love the name of this video. Too hilarious!

He has been the most genuine bachelor I've seen in the history of the franchise. I respect his values and down-to-earth personality and real-world mindset. Would love to see him find love as The Bachelor, in his own terms and pace.

I feel like Rachel had picked based off of looks primarily. This season had really great looking guys but clearly there are some that stood out more than others. I really admire Peter's honesty and pragmatic thinking and random sparks of goofiness but he just doesnt seem fit for Rachel IMO. His personality is a bit of a downer but his looks help recover that. Eric is also very handsome and sweet but I can't help but feel Rachel only has him there as a filler so that people won't criticize her for not having a black guy so far up. And Bryan hasn't done anything bad, we are just looking deeper into something and using assumptions over actual evidence to judge him. Don't get me wrong, I agree he seems to keep the relationship very surface level and non relatable, but there might be a chance he is just too confidence but also a very passionate lover. To be honest, my favorite guy was Matt because from what I could see of him on tv was that he was really sweet, mature, and a cutie! Adam was great too, but I'm pretty sure Rachel was more interested in the looks of certain guys over others. If you put Adam's personality into Peter, he would win for sure. IDK just my opinions/thoughts.

Latasha House Correction, the watch was product placement. TPTB/Breitbart supplied those watches...didn't come from Rachel...altho, I'll admit she might've been the one to have chosen Bryan for the date. Regardless, IMO, the dog sled ride across GLACIER 300 is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to which NO factory-second watch can compare!!! But, to each his own. Obviously my value system is not the same as yours.

Latasha House by setting the bar low they were talking about meeting Rachel's family which went better with Peter than with Bryan :) and from what I saw Rachel's mom liked Peter's view of engagement better than the other two guys (but producers cut most of the conversations so you never know) And in my opinion Peter is being serious about this! Why should you propose to someone you've never been alone with and have only met a few weeks ago? So I can totally see where Peter is coming from. But of course Rachel has to stay true to herself.
