she was born saturday and got the ok to come home today.
she is precious, oh did i say this already haha and she is spicy, full of her self!
Jordan will have his hads full training this little fire cracker.
did you notice shes a bay? haha not sure how a fancy grulla mare and a red roan turns bay - but here she is.. I expect she will roan ....

Holly is such a good Mom to her precious filly, letting the herd get a peek but protective if they’re too curious. I love that the little one was exploring the hay with her gums, too funny! Congratulations to all, she’s a beauty.💕

Your herd is gorgeous - how lucky you are to live on a horse ranch and be able to spend time with these horses everyday - it was always my dream but it never came to be.
So precious 😊 love the way the other horses all gathered to look at her. Congratulations ❤

New born foals are so fun. I used to love the way they would try to suckle on my fingers before the front teeth grew in. And I have no idea how this happened but I once owned a Shetland mare and she ended up pregnant to my stallion. I sure as heck didn't breed her to the stud! But low and behold a wee filly was born, half Shetland and half Arabian. She was so daing cute. Short like her mama yet had the delicate features of an Arab. I ended up selling her, halter broke, to a nice man who had her trained for his daughter. My husband used to pick her up and put her across his shoulders. She was very content up there. She was so adorable and loved people and my Collie dogs.

Such a beautiful mother & daughter. She's already seeing what the hay thing is about, but she doesn't look too impressed, even tho mom says it's good. Holly is letting the herd see the baby but warning them there will be no nonsense, & letting baby know to stick close to her side.
