For sure! Just like little human babies, I don't know why but their tiny little fingers and feet are so freaking cute. I wouldn't call the feet of a macaque baby tiny though, those things are huge on them! Gaining control of them presents quite a problem learning to walk but also makes their early steps kind of adorable.

No Reddy's bun is still cooking..she usually is one of the last to pop.. she is a fantastic momma..i feel for poor Dolly...its hard keeping boys clean and I was hoping she'd have a girl this yr so she has some company as she gets older as she has had 8 boys so has gone down the rankings because of that too..i like Dolly..

Is it just me that thinks the monkeys in Monkey Hill are much more cuter than the long tail monkeys from other countries like Cambodia. I also think that these mothers are more nurturing than the other ones. Maybe I'm just biased for the inhabitants of Monkey Hill. Thank you for the lovely videos. You have allowed me a glimpse of these beautiful animals in their natural habitats. I would share your videos with my Prek students during our transition times. It helped us get thru the restrictions of these covid times.

I think they are cuter. I don't know if the mothers are more nurturing by nature or if it's just they don't have humans trying to stir up trouble constantly like the others deal with that makes a difference.

I'm glad you asked that, I was wondering too. I'm happy Lubby has some daughters, she's one of my favorites and it's good to know she'll have them around as she gets older. I wonder if the troops she visits will also accept her daughters as part-time members as well. I would think so, but we can't really know until we see it, or as you suggest maybe they'll choose one troop and stick with that one.

This is an adorable baby. After watching them for so long, I can understan why some people feel the need to adopt one of these babies... Arrow, there is a baby monkey I saw on JW channel that doesn't have use of his lower legs. Does appear to have hip movement. Have you seen they videos? The baby gets along really well considering. I don't know if he had an accident or born this way. I think he would be better off he he could have bilateral AKA. What r your thoughts if you have time to few him. His name is Stormy.

A question for those folks who know more about these monkeys than I know...why does someone end up as a drifter? Does that mean they don’t have a mother/sisters to join a family and thus belong to a troop, or is it that this monkey has left the troop she was born into for some reason, or something that I have not thought of?

Lubby, along with Wibby and Dana are called drifters because they don't seem to belong to one particular troop. They are free to move from their natal troop ( Annie's ) to our gang seemingly without any penalty at all, except they are low-ranking in both. I think Lubby, Wibby and Dana are related to Taggy in our gang.

I have a question I hope you can answer for me. I've been subscribed for a year or so I found the stories hard to follow, then I realized I had to go back to the beginning so that I could get to know everyone. That has made a huge difference and I'll skim the comments for some info also. I had read someone, who was referred to as a troll, was saying the usual same negative crap. Then some commented that there is a fake channel. Someone posing as AM. Is this true? If they are re-posting his videos how do you know the genuine site? AM is so dedicated to his work and the integrity he has in filming the families. So finally.... Is the Patreon account legit? 🙂✌
