You can't go wrong with a C206 for the backcountry. I flew charter for 9 years in 206's out of Challis Idaho. We flew U206's and we flew them hard. We hauled everything; it truly is the pickup truck of aircraft. If you are really serious about finding a solid 206 and how to set them up and fly safely into the backcountry I can give you contact information. This person's time and knowledge are valuable but if you are going to own one of these workhorses he's the person you need to know.

I flew one for 5 years in Alaska! love the plane! Probably my favorite of all the Cessna's! I like the non-turbo 550 conversions. less maintenance than the others and crazy performance! Thanks for watching!

Thats a great question! I love a 185! They are great airplanes! With the backcountry boom going on in aviation, the prices for 185's are though the roof. The reality is you can get a better equipped 206 for an equivalent price. If the right 185 was available, I certainly wouldn't hesitate!

the sellers shop or installer should make it right...a 1000 hr 206 equipped like that doesn't come along everyday....not like you are flying now anyways
