Yeah some covers can suffer from the same face syndrome but if you actually check it, you will see that it's mostly not the case anymore, even the heavily fashioned characters have different faces, for example Mamezuku.

Yeah Jojolion is a mess storywise. Most dropped plotpoints out of any part, and once again the coolest aspect of a stand pretty much just gets thrown out(Josuke's ability to remove an aspect of things).

Late part 7 compared to early part 7 art style is such an upgrade

I LOVE THE MANGA ART, when I draw JoJo's style I usually go for a mix of part 8 and and part 5. I also love the line shading thingies. Araki's Art is so Amazing I just want to meet him one day so bad. He is a big inspiration

The line shading is known as crosshatching, its a difficult type of shading but when utilized correctly it can make the best realistic art.

Honestly i gotta point another thing about part 8, the stands have been way more creative than any other parts design-wise, i love how Araki is using more of a mechanical meets flesh style when he develops the looks of stands.

I know this sounds obvious. But I’m gonna say that After going back and looking upon Part 3’s manga Art a few times, I love how the style shows influence of Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic wall art. I feel like You can see this through the character’s faces, eyes shapes, eye brows. Included their face shape. Then again, Araki had travelled to Egypt around that time, so there’s that. Then to part 5, absolutely loved the Artistic Renaissance and Ancient Roman influence. Every casual Male character in there had bodies sculpted like statues 😂 So hearing that Michelangelo was also an inspiration for partially Giorno, makes my art heart happy! I’ve heard that Stone Ocean animated will take inspiration from American Comics. I can’t wait to see how this plays out!

Part 3 is my favorite art style, specifically when in black and white.

In terms of artstyle, It would probably be very similar to jojolion (wich is the longest part with the least stylistic changes). In jojolion, Araki found his own perfect style and I think It won't change in jojolands. Sorry for the bad english, I'm italiano

I cant believe his work had been shown at the LOUVRE..... In my opinion, the old characters in recent style is good. People saying Jotaro is nerfed when it made sense actually. He's a scientist w aa phd and a daughter, wtf u think he doin? And some still packin too tho. Also the style makes sense for Jojolion's setting.

The style progression is beautiful

Baoh looks so good I was shocked this came out before part 1.

What I like about the Stone Ocean anime's art style is it's sort of a mix of parts 4 and 5. It has that expressive, over the top art style from DIU, but has the thick line work from Golden Wind, which makes it look really nice and nothing seems to look out of place.

I know alot of people make fun of it but I can't help but love Araki's more Fist of the North Star inspired artwork (Although part 5 or 6 are my favorite art wise)

After reading JoJolion monthly, I think the colored manga just looks ugly compared to black and white

I noticed the art style change the most while reading part 4 and 5, most character designs also changed drastically and gets truly "bizarre" for me

I can't wait for JoJolands! I would probably freak out if Araki just teased an art of it! I really want to know how it looks and how the story will be...

glad to see you have the Japanese SBR collection as well

They went from bears to otters to twinks to horseracers to twanks.

1.) stone ocean, I'm a sucker for good ending, and my god, part 6 has one of the best endings an all of fictions imo. 2.) SBR, defiantly the objective best JoJo part, in terms if story telling character writing, pacing and art, you have it all there and it's wonderful, a true 10/10 story. 3.) DIU, the cast of character is so likeable and and second half is god like, the best JoJo villain, top 3 JoJo protag's and just an over all good time. 4.) GW, it's messages and theme's are just the encapsulation of JoJo, and the whole "gang" aspect of it is very cool, along with one of the best characters in JoJo, Bruno Bucciarati. 5.) part 3, the start of stands the most fun and recognizable JoJo villain, DIO, as I said I'm a sucker for good endings and the ending fight in the anime is the best JoJo fight bar none, (maybe tusk act 4 vs D4C but the anime for that hasn't come out so ummmmm) 6.) part 2, some of the most fun you will ever have with a JoJo part, joseph single handedly makes this a blast, in the top 3 protag's 7.) phantom blood as the start of JoJo works so well, setting up the tragedy of the story and the legacy of DIO, and allows for so many dominoes' to fall in the rest of the DIO vs JoJo saga and i haven't read part 8, im reading one piece right now so once i finish that i'll got onto it

I personally prefer the artstyle of the first 3 parts. I'm a fan of the manly manga artstyle popularized by Fist of the North Star. In general, I love the depiction of muscles in manga.

I feel that Araki was heavily inspired by Tetsuo Hara’s Fist of The North Star art style at first, but then gradually shifted to his own unique art style. That’s why the characters get less buff each part.

JoJo art deserves to be in a musuem

the art style in SBR and Jojolion is fucking gorgeous. its a pure joy to read

For me the the biggest changes I look for are in the faces. Part 1 - 3 all had box faces with rectangle eyes and sharp noses, part 4 (I'm gonna refer to the anime style since the manga changed alot) has smooth faces with the beginning of Araki drawing noses that look like they've been scratched by a cat a bunch. Part 5 and 6 look kinda the same to me except part 5 has dark shadows while 6 doesn't. Part 7 and 8 have the most realistic noses Araki has drawn while also looking unrealistic it's weird but I love it, and everyone wears lipstick for some reason now lmao

I would love part 2 if the art style was a part 4 art , its just cool seeing Joseph like a normal human it makes him look like smart , bc he is a clever frk, almost all of his attacks were done by his clever brain not his big boi chad body

SBR is like from Stone Ocean-ish Artstyle to Foreshadowing JoJolion Artstyle.

I am so glad that jojos eventually was fated to switch to Ultra Jump. Part 7 going monthly made the art go from amazing to- something even greater. Part 7 and 8 is just beautiful (if there’s not a word for MORE than beautiful). They’re the most aesthetically pleasing and gorgeous manga I’ve ever read.

I must admit my favourite parts in terms of art & designs are Pt.2 & 3 to a small degree.

“Joseph deserves to looks like a chad” truer words were never spoken...

I kinda like all the artstyle they are so unique that my friends doesn't even bother watching it because of its artstyle (they don't know what they are missing)

Araki has redrawn the "muscle era" characters in his current style, now imagine him drawing his current characters in muscle

Newer parts are more defined like mannequins, you could put any kind of clothes on them.

I love the FotNS art style, but seeing the art style change was a nice change across the series

Araki Got a Stand, Sweat Hands, his drawing skills increase as he draws more and more, and his drawing even came to life... And that's the world we are living, no more impressed about that everything is a JoJo reference.

I love the Fist of the North Star style for that series, but for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, I think that Araki didn’t quite jive with it, and I prefer the later art over the earlier art.
