    Hi Kevin, great video thank you. I have a question... How do you figure out how long it will take to paint a painting for the class? And staying on time? For example if it takes me 1 hour to paint how long will it take to teach? Thank you I would like another video please.

    How do you decide what to charge each person for the class?

    Don’t need certification … who would complain about a friggin art class ? I wouldn’t even worry about it . Art isn’t formal.

    This is great, thanks for sharing. What would also be a REAL bonus is if you could share how you go about actually teaching the class ... the steps, how you break it up into sections, how you get a complete newbie artist to start on paintings that come out looking like your own ... I'd love to give lessons, but don't know how to go about actually setting up the lessons

    Sorry have another question! How do you know how much to charge? And do you charge mileage? Do you do sip and paint nights? Less than 3 hours?

    Do youHAVE to have certification to teach oil painting.?

  • @KevinOilPainting

    @KevinOilPainting

    Not at all. There are some reasons why it may be nice to have one. But you can really advertise your own paintings on places like FB and online. People will just like the subject no matter if you are certified with a company or not.

    I totally get why you are not certified. Its like the painters that are BRI certified for example are sorta stuck doing the same subject of paintings

    Would you say that teaching art classes is an exhausting thing with 30 people? Arent you on your feet for the whole day? Do you get to take breaks

  • @KevinOilPainting

    @KevinOilPainting

    10 ай бұрын

    Yes, yes, and not really LOL. We do have a lunch break. That is the reason I only do 2 workshops a year. If I did more, I would have to do smaller classes, or have a permanent space, so that I don't have to setup and take down.
