I can't help but notice how high the canvas was for her. She is adorable. Enjoyed the video.

As a new painter, it was nice to see him actively teaching someone how to paint because it brought up problems and insecurities that a newbie painter comes up against and it showed how they can be faced and overcome, it also forced him to explain some things that he might not have thought to explain otherwise. For instance when she said "that doesn't look like a tree", his reply was both humorous and encouraging, and the bit about the fan brush "sad faces", or her worry that the sky had too much red in it. And then to see that her painting came out very well in the end despite her inexperience because of his coaching was great to see. So thank you!

Dude this is great! I've been playing guitar for over 30yrs & have taught my wife some songs along the way. It has always been a lot of fun sharing that "side of me" with her & some of the best times we've ever had have come from those impromptu moments! Thank you for sharing this with us! Your wife is beautiful and baby so cute....she did a fantastic painting....my first painting turned out muddy with a Christmas looking pine tree. I painted over it white and started over completely fresh again. It was so hard to make it look like something. Lot of trial and error. Many years later and after art school, I tried teaching a girl who was a tattoo artist how to paint something. Almost lost my mind, it was very difficult for her to grasp what I was saying. She just wanted to put dark black outlines around everything, I stood firm and told her no, try my way first. The painting turned out awesome, she loved it and got compliments on it. So you both did great for being teacher and student.

So much positive vibes from this video, you deserve a subscription just for that! Also I think the painting looks better than anything I've painted, so it's wonderful to see what one can achieve with some guidance.
