The Art of Slowing Down

"Why are we rushing through life?"
This is the question I asked myself these days when I feel like I am in a hurry to get things done. Living in this modern world that focuses on digitalisation and productivity, our life is getting more fast-paced than before. It is easy to fall into the fast-living trap if we do not slow down our life intentionally.
I hope we can find back the peace and happiness we used to have in ourselves by slowing down our life when necessary. Slow-living can actually bring more fulfilment in life when we stop rushing and just let nature take its course.

A calming voice, a beautiful message and music, just a wonderful little video. I really enjoyed it. Thank you. ♥️♥️ I am 52y now and slowed down my life twenty years ago. Me and my wife sold everything and moved to a more rural place and lived and still living are lives more freely. We work less and spend more time with eachother and our children. But also we are content with less and it feels like having more, if that makes sense. I sometimes stop and feel the wind look at our beautiful nature and just feel thankful for my life. Greetings from Portugal 🌞 🌞 Lots of love frome

Glad that you enjoyed the video❣️ The life that you are living with your family sounds so warm and peaceful☺️ I would love to live a simple life near the nature someday too. Indeed, less is more when it comes to living a happier life, it is what we have that makes us feel contented and enough❤️

Love this message about slowing down! Feeling overwhelmed by the constant rush? Take a cue from nature - it grows at its own pace. Let's all learn to breathe, find peace, and appreciate the present moment.

Slowing down is still achievable with a job. It’s more like building a habit to slow down intentionally, especially our mind, so we don’t fall into the fast paced trap and develop stress/ anxiety in the future.

This is an absolutely wonderful video. Aside from the obvious simplistic-yet-effective use of color-grading, the editing, etc, the idea you are conveying is truly the most beautiful part. I have heard your message loud and clear, from a voice that is soft and patient. Thank you for sharing your experience and perspective with us, it is truly a blessing.

Oh..as a high schooler, it really gets tough to manage academics and mental well-being...since I was 8, I thought I could become everything I could be good at playing piano, sports, academics and art(u know all-rounders)...and I really did invest my time in it...but by now I know the basics of these art forms and games...which I feel isn't enough...I should go the extra mile but I can't really make time for extracurriculars these days...also asian parents like to see their children compete...that's the kind of pressure being built on me (not by my parents but by me on myself)...The quotes you mentioned in this video really helped me to rethink my life's perspective. Thanks a lot !! Video Recommendation: How does it feel to be compared by your own self? or the feeling of Not being enough?? what do you think about it

I can totally relate to what you have shared, self-pressure can be really hard at times if we are always looking to be perfect at everything. For me, these days I will try to focus my energy on one/two tasks for a period of time and just do it with no high expectations. If you put your focus on right track, you’ll get to the destination eventually. Most importantly is to give yourself time and let nature take its course. I would love to make a video on this in the future as well! As for the feeling of not being enough, I have made a video last month that may be able to give you an answer, you can check it out if you have time. All the best to you✨

Another excellent vid, I really enjoyed it. I have been on a "slowing down" journey for a number of years now, and I can attest to how powerful it is to rest. You will only come to Understand what you are...when the mind becomes Quiet. You are the Stillness beyond the busyness of the world and the mind. Love that you are sharing these messages. I learned a lot from Lao Tzu and the Tao Te Ching, as well as from great teachers such as Osho, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Osho, Jiddu Krishnamurti, and Mooji to name a few. Keep going on your "slowing down" Journey! When You find that You are STILL and Life is moving within You, then You are Home. Thanks again for your beautiful content...

I love slowing down and I am slow on a lots of things but I don’t understand why people always think it’s a bad thing.Lifestyle of Slow down is only the way to restful, healthier and more mindful life. It’s wise not the opposite. I always wanted this way. 🧘🏻‍♀️💚
