The film follows Denny and the loves of his life - his wife, Eve (Amanda Seyfried), their young daughter Zoe (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), and ultimately, his true best friend, Enzo.

It would’ve also said “And the coffee company that brought you ‘Akeelah and the Bee’” since it’s Starbucks’s first film in nearly 15 years after Akeelah (except it’s not based on the novel). See the credits at the end, it’s no joke.

Well I must be an addict, for through all this trailer I only recognized he was watching the Monaco 1984 F1 Grand Prix, since you see Senna's Toleman taking the chicane in the rain. He would drive up to finish close second behind Alain Prost, forming a rivalry that would swallow the following 10 years. All through this time, Senna would earn the nickname "The Magician", because of his uncanly talent under wet conditions, and everyone agrees the legend was born at Monaco in 1984. To see them pick THIS specific race, with the topic of this movie, means the guys knew a thing or two about car-racing, i like it :)

This was one of the most beautiful movie's I have ever seen. I watched it on a plane and couldn't hold the tears back.
This movie tops Marley and me by miles. It captures life in the best, yet most real way possible. Emotional, breathtaking, loving and dramatic, this movie shows it all. Anyone who has not seen it odd to. Highest praise!!!
Marley and Me. A Dogs Purpose. A Dogs Journey. And.... The Art Of Racing In The rain!!! Four of the best films I have ever seen.... but this one being by far the best in show.

Watched this movie, experienced an intense emotional rollercoaster and then came to see its trailer with tears in my eyes. You can understand what kind of movie this is.❣️
The art of racing in the rain is a wonderful movie, truly it is. When I first heard about it I didn't think I would like it but wow, I love the movie. For those of you out there who have not watched this movie yet, I encourage you to watch it and give it a chance. If not, then you're missing out on a wonderful movie and there's no question about it

" If the driver has the courage to create his own conditions then rain is simply rain"!...best line in this movie...The end just dipped me tears.
Just enjoyed this, truly one of the most deeply touching movies I've EVER seen and the racing philosophy and footage is brilliant. It's been FAR too long since Hollywood created a modern day classic like this. Love dogs, love racing, love family you'll LOVE this movie. People were getting emotional in the parking lot after the show. WELL DONE HOLLYWOOD, WELL DONE!

Made me sigh, chuckle and cry. Beautiful, not just for racing enthusiasts, but anyone who has lost a loved one to disease, a beloved pet to old age or is just too stubborn to give up on a dream

Follow up: I listened to it at work and loved it so much I listened to it again '“That which we manifest is before us; we are the creators of our own destiny. Be it through intention or ignorance, our successes and our failures have been brought on by none other than ourselves.” ― Garth Stein, The Art of Racing in the Rain
The end is the saddest moment, after 1 week I’m still crying just thinking of the kid named Enzo… this film is a masterpiece
This movie was so SAD and heart breaking. I don't know how anyone can not cry.

jaydel3 I’m at the cinemas right now watching it. And I’ve been yawning throughout. Pretty boring to me. Maybe I should have read the book instead
I finished watching this movie about half an hour ago. It was really not what I expected. The last time I genuinely cried was watching Marley and Me for the first time. And being a massive petrol head and quite a few years old now (as I was about 14 when I saw Marley and Me) i still cried almost all the way through this movie. I seriously enjoyed it. Wish it got more recognition in the UK.
Based on one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. I am already crying!!!
Read this book years ago and bawled my eyes out! It’s a beautiful story, and this trailer is already making my eyes well up!
Suggestion, watch the movie alone so that no one can see you crying like a baby..
I finally found the courage to watch the movie! It is indeed as good as the book! Still made me cry!
Kevin Costner as the voice of "Enzo" was the final straw it took to bring out the waterworks 😭😭😭😭😭

Yes, I think they got that right. Let's see about the rest.
I loved this book! It's fiction but weaves the wisdom of race car driving in the story! It's a great story. Enzo tells the story!

I was crying almosg during every sad scene, but that ending was... i loved it, it is sad but also gives you satisfaction and hope that not everything is over.
Is it just me or does Enzo sound like Thanos giving the end of the world speech?!

lol, he's supposed to - he's wise. From what I've seen (I'm in the media), Costner is the part of this film they got most right.
At one point i thought the doggo would start driving and become a pro race driver just like the other movies involving golden retrievers and sports. Dissapointed

its been 3 year since ive seen this movie and I get teared up just thinking about watching it again....
To everyone who hasn’t read the book: bring tissues and hydrate before watching. It’s a more depressing, more tear-jerking version of Marley & Me.
I remember reading this book with my dad when I was 8 or 9. How time flies!
I remember watching this in the theater and bawling my eyes out. Others were crying too. ❤️
Line that gives me chills for some reason. "but for now, all I want is one more lap,..faster Denny..........Faster!!"

Oh my!!! Don’t have sufficient words to express my feelings and thoughts after seeing this movie. A real gem. You don’t want to miss this one- that is, if you have a heart at all. ♥️
This trailer has increased the water levels by 10%.
“Aw, this looks like such a sweet and happy movie. I’m certain that I won’t cry-” Fox: I’m gonna stop you right there
One of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen had me in tears for hours, if you don't cry watching this movie you don't have a soul sorry gtg still sobbing 😢
Another doggo movie? *COUNT ME DAFUQ IN.*
So happy the trailer didnt give too much away. Read the book first, you'll love it.

Gave A LITTLE too much away, but Disney may not even have included the big takeaway in the film. That part may be why it took so long to be produced.
This, this movie hit home, the visuals, the correct songs and feelings, the story, it's amazing how this movie is so underappreciated, I went into the theater and only saw 2 people watching excluding me even though I came in late to skip the ads, this is a once in a lifetime movie I couldn't count how many times I cried with sadness and happiness
Just watched this movie ! I am balling my eyes out with my dogs next to me. What a wonderful , inspiring movie. All dogs should be giving a wonderful life like a human. Great movie
If It is half as sad as the book is... Boy you better hydrate before
