The Archaeology of Place

In the early 1980s, influential papers by Lewis Binford and Robert Foley identified processes that lead "places" in the landscape to become archaeologists' "sites." This video summarizes their theories and discusses some of their wider implications for landscape archaeology.

    music for humans. thank you for the info. the scatter sites around lake erie, the copper, the other side of neander, the old land bridge across the north sea. wipe out, 40 thousand year ago. the lake erie area is the center to explore. love
