In OLDEST WW-Singed bio story there was literally MIND trying to communicate with BODY so rest reasons for SilcoVander clicked (shimmer vs death) .Vander drunk it when Silco injected shimmer into eyes eye & EYES are connected DIRECTLY to brain. There is more details that suit perfectly

Really like the ‘Orianna being singed’s daughter’ theory. Singed is doing all this experimentation to find a method of curing his daughter but what if he eventually turns to Viktor (just as Viktor asked singed for help in s1) for help. Because Viktor will turn his eroding body into machine singed might ask him to do the same for his daughter.

This was my initial theory also, Victor will probably invent Blitzcrank the first of his many inventions, all the glory will be put on Jayce. Victor will leave the top side to work on his own (just like Singed) and try to help the under-city by himself for noble reasons and ethically unlike his master. Singed will probably hear about blitz and assume Victor was responsible for it and come to ask for help and he’ll do it as a favour and thus starts the Victors Legends.

I think the infusion blood was for more simple reason. You know when vander fighting he lose many blood before he drink the Shimmer. I think what Singed want to do is to backup those blood lose. So he can get rid Shimmer after it without making vander dying

would it be far fetched to say that rio is a void monster? idk, the sounds that shimmer make is definitely void-esque, but rio doesn’t really act like a void creature edit: wait actually makes more sense is that the flowers were tainted by the void through the unclean water in zaun and its proximity to shurima, those flower were growing in that cave with the river and rio was a regular creature who snacked on it and got larger due to it, singed probably observed the whole thing and started his research.

MY THEORY now im just spitballing honestly. buuuuut when i first watched it was that Rio was the producer of shimmer given how she has the tubes and stuff coming out of her body, that are sucking the purple liquid out of her. and that he wanted to keep her alive so he could continue to harvest whatever he could get from her in order to create shimmer. "she must survive" becuase he needed her organs/bodily fluids to create shimmer from them. i had never really conencted the flowers to them making her voidlike or "sicker" but it is a valid point. i just assumed she was some type of void creature anyways because of how Victor reacted to seeing her for the first time, like he was scared but realized she was friendly and grew to care about her. just my thoughts tho :P @@vel306

In season 1 when Vander is fighting after he drank the shimmer it sounds just like Warwick's voice!

They could tweak the timeline a little with Ionia. Have the invasion go for years, then now Singed is contracted. His weapons turn to be so devastating that even the pacifists in Ionia decide that enough is enough and join the war. At the same time, the land reacts strongly against the Noxians after suffering a huge wound The result is that the war ends

It seems like they are setting up the Invasion as a future event. This way the old stories don't necessarily become deconanized, because Singed could still have done all those things.

At this point looking at the "old" lore as a... blueprint, would be a good idea. The events will be the same, but the timeline will need some tweaking, which isnt all that bad, we just need to let it go of the timeline a little until things align again, not the first time this happens in this lore. And this time, there is some guarantees that this will be the last time it happens, Arcane became so popular, that the necessity of keeping things in place so that viewers don't become displeased is strong. Riot finally making one department exclusively for narrative integrity is a good sign of that... sure, it wont be all sunshine and roses, but as long as they don't botch things into hell, which i think is the last thing the creative team wants (they do love this world they built).

Singed is my favorite character from season 1. I REALLY hope they don't turn him into a full-blown villain - he is much more interesting in the show as is.

i have a feeling he will be the middle of jayce and viktor. jayce will probably slowly get more hostile with viktor as viktor gets more into cyborg/robot healing methods. jayce might also get even more mad once he finds out viktor and singed sort of work together ( atleast i think they will ), this might lead to viktor OR jayce being declared the villain, probably it wont be as clear as that. they will let the viewer decide who is morally right. while viktor and jayce are fighting over these major points, singed will be more geared towards helping his own goals and ideas. this will also let the viewer decide if he is bad or good, he will either make warwick as an experiment to extend human life, or as a weapon. jayce is the "technology to make life easier" viktor will be the "technology to extend / improve life" and singed will be using raw biology to try and find a way to revive / extend life, then he might eventually switch to helping viktor with his robotics.

@@bestaatroxeuw Singed was set up as not really having any qualms with methodology when it comes to his lab. i wouldn't put him in the middle of viktor and jayce, but rather, more cruel than viktor, just lacking any interest in the whole political side of things: he wants his experiments, and he wants them done no matter the way. So in a way, he can really go whichever route; like an actual psycopath (the actual definition of psycopathy.), he doesn't seem to go along by any moral code (good or bad, which itself lends itself to "uninvested" cruelty). But, season 2 could actually have him more personally invested. honestly, he would be an awesome "bad guy" nbot gonna lie. Arcane doesn't really have bad guys though, not even silco was full on bad (cruel and determined, but not even him could give jinx away at any price)

The tanks that Singed’s blood is channeling into is reminiscent of a heart that has four chambers. I imagine the green chemical is some sort of healing steroid. It would explain Warwick’s rage and Singed’s insanity as steroids can cause some psychosis.

I honestly think they'll redcon Singed's insanity. We already have enough insane characters (Ziggs, Jinx, Shaco in some way Briar) and Singed really had barely any personality before Arcane. So, in my opinion we would be better off if the Arcane Singed replaced the current League Singed, at least in terms of personality.

At the time of season 1 it Noxus is under Darkwill, Zaun has just discovered chemtech so it's pretty early in the lore, and Urgot most still be an executioner. The moment Darkwill dies and Swain takes over Urgot will be sent to Zaun to be emprissoned in the Dredge, wich I bet we will see in most likely season 3 if it ever happens ?

If Orianna will be Singed's daughter, there is a chance Viktor will be the one to make her mechanical body alive. Maybe he'll make Blitz early in season 2, then start to make prosthetic for himself and for last two episodes Singed will ask him to give life to his daughter. Maybe Corin will make her robotic body? Too many "maybies" but I like to think this can be possible

The theory I proposed in season one is that the Ionian invasion happened in the time skip or during the beginning of arcane. That led to Swain swinging to the top of Noxus and purging the Nobility. That led to Mel's brother dying and her mother coming to Piltover to fight back against Swain. In my head that made most sense considering the old timeline, tho they might change the timeline completely. New theories. Chemtech will be developed, which will be less efficient than Shimmer, but has less side effects. Oriana might not be Singed's daughter, but still someone close to him (would like that more, but daughter would be much easier to follow). I'm guessing that Singed will fail regardless, but his problem will be solved with Victor's help. It would be a great link between the characters once again. I'd guess that the first step is Victor and Jayce creating Blitz and then they use their gained knowledge to go further. The Singed storyline will ultimately divide them tho and something there will turn them against each other. Probably some moral code or difference in ideals. Maybe this is thinking too far tho and we will stop this season after their first milestone, Blitz.

It could also be that they use singed weapons to bring an end to the invasion. The invasion could had already been ongoing for years without a clear winner, you know, that's how war goes, especially since Ionia turned out to be a real challenge for noxians. Or probably the first war ended but noxus now want to give it another shot, this time exploding into a bigger conflict.

The difference between Heimer, Jayce, Singed and Viktor and why they have worked independently from each other is their different ways of science: Heimer creates machines Jayce creates tools Singed enhances and changes flesh and bodys Viktor replaces flesh with metal Singed and Viktor are 2 sides of a coin and I could see both of them getting into disagreement on what's the better way and that Viktor takes away humanity and warmth for cold steel. I could even see it all vreaking down because of Orianna, who then gets turned into a robot by Viktor, which Singed might disagree with. After all if Singed was for the glorious revolution, he would need to leave behind his frail body that was the subject and motivation for everything he did. Singed is his frail body and the desperate and uncompromising search for a cure

@@GamesCourier To add onto this, Viktor from (current) canon might not be ethical in the way that Singed agrees with. Necrit said that Singed only uses 'worthless' lives, but I wonder if Viktor would actually do this, especially once he replaces large parts of his body and even his emotions with machinery. His current canon self really doesn't like the way humans think and behave and sees them as irrational. I could actually see him forcefully making people adapt if it saves their lives, no matter how much they try to refuse.

I’m interested to see the reasoning why he chose vander to be Warwick. Was it just because he was already almost dead and right in front of him or was there a more specific reason

Those are likely some of the reasons, but a couple more that are likely there are that Vander was already a strong subject, and thus more likely to survive, and because he managed to maintain complete control while under the influence of Shimmer.

My theory is that, since Vander was dead for quite a while, he probably went a bit braindead. So when Singed revives him, he comes back as a sort of dumb beast.

I personally believed that Warwick is basically made to be Singeds ultimate "Bloodhound" while also being an experiment in terms of the "Rejuvenation" concept. The reason for why I believe that is that singed is maybe infusing Warwick with his blood in order to find his daughter and make warwick get used to the smell, the issue is that Warwick in his current state is not too hesistant of cutting ppl down although the several teasers and voice lines have shown that he does seem to be able to show mercy towards "innocent girls" which aligns up with his past self and thoughts about Vi and Jinx.

7:38 "but why would singed do this?" My immediate thought wouldn't go to money, he still has plenty of prospects in zaun, outside of shimmer. But what can noxus provide that zaun or piltover can't? Revival of the dead amd extension of ones life; something noxus has shown they are very adept in, with sion and blood mages. I can definitely see Singed striking a deal with madarda to revive his daughter using noxus resources, in return he makes weapons for them.

theres also a possibility that orianna is the arcane inspired VGU we're getting next year. they might try to update her lore and appearance to match the fact that the original canon doesnt exist, and is replaced by Arcane

We don't know Singed's real name : he could be Corin Reveck, Orianna's father. Maybe Singed will ultimately fail to save her with his method, and Viktor will help him by turning Orianna into the cyborg we know. It could be interesting.

My theory is that Singed is infusing his own blood into Vander because he had already been experimenting on himself for years or even decades, and his bloodstream somehow has already assimilated the Shimmer to the point where it doesn't make him go mad (like Vander) or give him a rush (Jinx), Silco seemed to be somewhat accustomed to it too. Think of it as a "safeproof" way of making the Warwick transition faster, safer or even stronger.

Im actually quite surprised You didn't mention Chemtech at all. Green stuff being worked on by Singed seems as a perfect way to implement Chemtech being used in Zaun as it was supposed to be Zaun's cheaper answer for Piltover's Hextech. This season could show how Zaun all started to depend on Chemtech after seeing what Shimmer did to Silco, Vander, Jinx and the Council at Piltover. It just seems as a natural progression when one person has that incredible power and everyone wants to have it too for their own with cheaper or less safe ways. That would open door for characters like Urgot to appear in 3rd season but also for Singed to become the chemtech master who sold chemical bombs to Noxus. The Awaken story of Cait and Vi fighting Urgot could even be shown as they could become a duo fighting to protect their Cities for Shimmer and all its succession after what it did to their families. Basically, all the doors feel open for Riot as the story could go anywhere in any order as far as their hold to the timeline on bigger events. I may have forgotten or gone over some details so feel free to respond and correct me

From what I recall Chemtech was brought around the time Siloc became a Chem Baron, but according to Renata Glasc she implies it's her family which first invested into chemtech and brought it forward, turning Zaun into the slave state of Piltover to a somewhat independant nation with its first 'golden age' as chemtech became the equivalent of eletricity being introduced Then again given Arcane is new and conflicts most likely with already estabished lore it's gonna be a little gymnastic of potential retcons

@@sylvananas7923 Renata's family had their own chem recipe. Renata herself wasn't into alchemy, but rather business. So she takes her family's recipe after her parents die and creates fancy products with it. Products that even Piltovians want, hence how she makes her fortune. That makes me think that Renata's story happens later, not to mention that some characters don't feel as old as they are in-game (Ekko, Jinx still has to go fully crazy). I don't think Riot would release a champion with lore that's going to be immediately retconned. Her arm is filled with pink liquid though, so who knows?

i really hope they keep the link between noxus and singed, and the invasion of ionia cauze its really nice to see how it all goes together and is connected. If he really found a way to metigate shimmer and shimmer really is connected to the void maybe singed also has found or will find a way or a weapon against the void and the watchers ?

Ah man, i was really hope Sevika is the next champ, she looks so promising. Imagine one of her kit can change her from fighter to assassin with that blade and shimmer to empower stuff 😢

Maybe Viktor will help Orianna as a thanks to Singed for helping him in S1. Viktor will have his glorious revolution moment and then kind of "prove it" with Orianna, making it a sort of "the student has become the master" sort of deal between Singed and Viktor when it comes to their shared battle against mortality. It might not actually be what Singed wanted, having his daughter be a robot and all, so it could be a point of tension since Viktor would basically just be using Singeds daughter to prove how much smarter he is. It would fit very well with the sort of morally puranical revolutionary Viktor will probably become.

I'm honestly amazed how nobody talks about a possible connection of the Void makeover of the Game and Arcane 2.

Also, I think it's safe to assume that the link between Noxus and Singed will be Ambessa. Her daughter is most likely dead from Jinx's attack on the council (The voice actress confirmed she's not a part of season 2, so Mel is gone), maybe she thinks she needs the upper hand on both Piltover and Zaun to prevent anything like losing her daughter from happening again. Cailtyn's mother is also most likely a goner.

Something that is said in singed and ww story is that once singed found out that ww was alive and didn’t die, he says that he has to recover him somehow for "the next phase".... so maybe there are things that we don't know about singed plan. Maybe he wants to somehow control ww

It may not be worth mentioning, but some of the original Warwick lore had singed as Warwick’s apprentice. And that the two of them were foes to Ionia and Soraka. They might draw on sending Warwick to the frontlines of the Noxian war.

I just realize that Mel's paint of the Noxian ship looks just like the red sail in Saint-Petersburg Russia, which is a symbol for their high school graduation. This might be some hidden detail tell us more about season 2.

I popped off when I first heard the music box playing in the teaser. Orianna is my main in League, so I'd LOVE to see her in Arcane

I just realized the violin solo at the beginning of season 1 is just "What could have been" bridge slowed.

or maybe he is keeping warwick alive? if i recall correctly warwick dies in the original story, singed dumps him and then he comes back alive. Maybe in the arcane version warwick dies, and singed sacrifices his own blood to keep him alive. then once singed basically dies for his experiment, warwick gets out, and maybe someone finds singed and helps him ( viktor )

I assumed the green stuff stuff was Chemtech. I thought that singed possibly found a way to make a synthetic, more versatile from of shimmer and that was why the teaser had such a green hew. Like how season one had a very piltover/hextexh stylized theme. I wondered if season 2 might have a zaun/Chemtech stylized theme. I don't know but I'm excited to find out more!

I started playing the game 2 months ago and I watched the show when it came out (I was 10 now I’m 13) and I am more than excited about the new season. I’ve been waiting for a long time!! But the thing I’m most excited for is to see if they show more of the relationship dynamics between jinx and vi. I’m not entirely sure if they will show them but they might. I hope they show at least around 10 minutes of them.

what about the spike machine on warwicks back? that makes him go rage mode, how would that tie in to the healing theory? i could be miss remembering but wasnt the idea always that warwick has that spike on his back that makes him bloodthirsty and enter a sort of blind rage? what if warwick is a weapon of mass destruction made for noxus by singed?

Hmm, is Singed's backstory stablished in arcane? Can't remember now, but it could retconned so his actual name is Corin Reveck, Orianna's original father in the lore. This would at least tie up their lores more closely to their old counterparts. I could see a younger Singed getting expulsed for trying to make a cure for his daughter in piltover, as far as I remember his original story is similar too.

Singed is more of a moniker (which is strange, because he rarely interacts with characters to warrant a nickname). His actual name has never been disclosed.

I think what'll happen is that Singed would most likely get in contact with Ambessa in some way and that'll be a way we can get the Singed we all know and love that gassed Ionia (I haven't watch the rest of the vid yet so I dunno if you talked about that past 6:34 XD) It would also probably lead into a connected series that'll dive into the Noxian invasion on Ionia. That would be hype for alot of reasons, 2 being the brothers and Riven

I have a slightly different theory, but along the same vein. I think that Shimmer is a precursor to ChemTech, Zaun’s answer to HexTech. Warwick, and a lot of other places you would see ChemTech in we got Shimmer instead for Arcane S1. I think instead of the green being an antidote, it’s the next step that Singed has found. Since Vander was almost dead and took Shimmer as a last minute performance booster to save Vi, the next step is a sustained life from the brink. Or even death

If singed got money from noxus for the invasion of Ionia, the money could also have gone to Orianna's body

I have theories on urgot being the noxian coming for the medarda's and being the chemical connect to singed. Also blitzcrank and zac could have fun and interesting connections. Partially hope that Jinx plays a smaller role in the next season so we can explore more of zaun and piltovers other unique characters.

League could literally release a black image with the text “season 2” on it and Necrit would still make a 6 hour PowerPoint presentation on all the hidden Easter eggs

I don't see people talk about this but Signed and Medarda have a very easy link between them. - Noxian invasion of Ionia used Signed's weapons. - Medarda came to look for weapons but won't get any from Piltover. - She will go looking in Zaun and find Singed who just lost Silco's backing and is in need of another. - Singed will agree to help Noxus by developing weapons.

can’t wait to see Ambessa be Noxian Fiora, paralleling Garen and Darius
