As creepy as this story is, I think there's a lot to infer from it about Singed, his personality, and even why he's doing this. Firstly, if you go through his bio, you'll realize that Singed is quite aged, and that his body had grown old and tired after decades of service in the Academy. He tried to bolster his physique by concocting vile chemicals, but that was only a temporary solution, and it has left his body more withered than before. Not to mention the chimeric experiment he did ended with Warwick escaping and doing a number on him. Singed is a scientist who lacks a moral compass, he has no ethics, he will do whatever is necessary to accomplish his goals. I think the reason why he made Thinker and Breaker is because he wants to turn himself into a Thinker, so he can latch unto a Breaker (Mundo?) in order to grant himself strength and resilience. That's why he was so disappointed when Hedri's personality merged with Palo's, instead of completely subsuming it, since he himself wouldn't want to merge his intellect with some dumb brute. Or at least, that's my take on things.

@@NeverDry999 I went back and reread it, and it looks like you're right. I guess I thought it was Singed slicing open Warwick's face for science the first time I read it, somehow. Still not sure if that qualifies as doing a number on Singed given that that same day Singed was still able to haul the big body away and be more worried that his experiment was over.

if the rumor is true that singed is orianna's father then it makes sense that he make biological experimentation so he can make orianna normal again and if you dont know orianna's father replace her body part falling apart and if you know the characteristic of warwick that he have a infinite vitality and self healing

This would be a great oppertunity for Riot to finally implement more "unique" champions with unique play styles in the game. While Yuumi is a good example (with maybe bad results, the heal and power gain is just enabling backseat gaming) we can find even better ones in Blizzards "Hero of the Storm". There is one champion that is called "Cho'gall" and is a two headed ogre played by 2 players simultaniously. While one plays the Bruiser/ CC tank body and controls where they go, the other one is the other head, playing a mage casting spells, but not being able to control the body, so pretty similar to yuumi on top of a sion, but she actually is vel'koz. So this might be an interesting way to implement something similar to this, where 2 players control the same champion. I don't know how Riot could implement something like this because it is a very niche role, but it sure as hell would be cool!

Really sounds like a Mundo teaser. He will have the strength of a thousand men because he WILL be a thousand men stitched into one!

This story made me feel even sicker to my stomach than the Volibear and Warwick stories combined, the mix of mind-break/meld, torture and then that reveal at the end: "Thinker four" somehow tops the most sickening stories produced by Riot so far, bravo.

Vanders Nickname: "The Hound" In Arcane they tell Vander to "unleash his wrath" Warwick is "the wrath of Zaun unleashed" Warwick ingame vpiclines when meeting VI "Who taught you how to punch" Vander was the one that did. Meeting Jinx: "You were there" Referencing the incident in episode 3. In Episode 3 you can also hear Warwicks blood sense when Vander is being lifted up by the junkie. Finally, Warwicks back story references him being a Gangster that gave up on the criminal life before his past caught up to him, which describes Vanders story

Mundo being from zaun it would make too much sense to have some connection with singed. The way i see it, he was made by him or he was picked by him, considering mundo's current lore the reason behind his appearance wasn't there. Also the way Breaker's thoughts are shown in the story feels very mundo. Dldr: the story is about mundo or someone like mundo

While this story is very dark, why does it feel like: A. Singed has a running theme of just experiments escaping B. Singed allowed them to escape for further analysis, with the exception of Warwick, he has allowed his experiments to roam free, causing wanton destruction or just indirectly creating public instability.

If you think about it, Freedom is engrained with every living being, especially humans. When we are stripped of our freedom without reason like let's say, a random guy locked you up in the basement, the first thing that a functioning human being would think is how would they escape. This is a primal instinct, a sign of intelligence. If a human being just admittedly accepts his fate, for some sick cursed Scientist like Singed, it would just be a waste. Singed let them to escape to see how far their level of intelligence goes with the amount and cursed abominations he did to the person.

But... didn't it said something like "last thing he heard". I'm preeeeeetty sure that means thinker four died. From the way he found him that soon I would guess that was his plan. Allow him to run around, find Breaker's house and see how that affects the results. I like the theory of Singed wanting to become the ideal "Thinker". He's making sure there's no room for mistakes by doing that.

i'd say singed would be as attached to the citizens of zaun, as he is to his failed experiments. he also profits from public instability, since that makes kidnapping and torturing people much easier.

That is actually explained in his bio if I recall correctly. He uses some chemical compounds on himself to allow him to function for ridiculously long amounts of time (like full weeks) before sleeping for a similarly long amount of time.

I love how the writers are going really all out on Singed's maniatical crazy body horror stuff

The most horrifying thing about Singed is trying to pronounce "Singed's"

One of the best reads I ever had with any of the short stories. I was always a fan of this surreal creature stuff and this is definitly spot on. It makes you see singed in a whole other light, before you remember that he literally just runs around laughing and flipping people like pancakes.

Its fantastic how the shot at 0:53 is the same that is in Arcane.

Seraphine: I think everyone in Zaun and Piltover can come together. Meanwhile in Zaun. Singed. Oh boy, here I go unethically human testing again.

Singed has affected almost every other champ directly or indirectly by his twisted experiments. And he’s only human. As far as we know

I am a fan for about a year now, I always enjoyed the stories and rift news on this channel

I remember reading this a while back. My god this was disgusting. I feel terrible for Warwick.

Now imagine the last thing thinker 4 hears is Seraphine faw away giving one of her hope speeches during a concert Also, as a singed player, HOLY SHIT this man needs new VO!

@@casperryborg4869 If this is a joke ignore this. If not continue. I dont see how it would be nunu 2.0, the *closest* i could see would be a bite/swing attack. Theres not much magic involved with this thing, so it'd be mostly melee attacks. only similarity besides the bite/swingwould be the whole "person on top of person", which is kinda different seeing as one is latched on via parastic teeth and the other is a fun loving yeti rider

@@EclipticChaos. It would be a mix between Nunu & Willump and Warwick. Nunu because it's a small intelligent creature on the back of a big strong dumber creature. Warwick because it was one of Singed's experiments. Riot also has this requirement that a champion's silhouette must be instantly recognizable and this would cause problems with Nunu & Willump's silhouette. As much as I'd love it to be a champ, it mixes too much with the idea of Nunu & Willump and Warwick.

@@randomname8616 i think there’s opportunity to make slightly more wicked/zaunite for the silhouette, and as far as sinilar kits go i dont think itd be too difficult overall to think of some new abilities (especially since they seem to like just spicing up old champions abilities and mashing them into new champs)

Warwicks lore is still my favorite in game.

Came here after the release of Arcane Act 2

Last time I'm probably going to mention something like this, but take a look at this story and tell me that the same effort and love was put into runeterran Seraphine. As someone said down there in the comments, the theory that Singed is looking for a solution to his aging problem is amazing and gives a lot of insight into the character. What I don't fully understand yet is why wouldn't Singed side with the glorious evolutiion and try to perpetuate his genius with machines. In that sense, Singed is like the opposite of the church of evolution, he believes that flesh has something more that machines don't, there's something primal into bending the flesh to your will rather than making something completely anew, it's a fascinating idea and makes Zaun into a more terrifying place than what it already was. Amazing.

This was really scary, I love that Singed is living to the "burned Ionia with chemicals" infamy. instead of being punched in the balls by Blitzcrank

I never took singed from the game as the type to record his experiments. and speak in such a well mannered tone. heres to hoping we get a singed rework where its not just running around with q active?

Please do a lore update on Elise, it even updates Mordekaiser a bit, since it mentions that someone might have stolen Sahn Uzal’s skull and left it at Shadow Isles.

this is probably a teaser for mundo, i remember on some concept arts mundo could detach parts of his body, i guess this is how they will make it happen.

I was about to call Them a great champion for the future but singed went “Lmao bye”

@@user-xo1rr5yc5l Well I don’t keep up with the game because it was originally for PC and by the time it was more available I basically was already up to my neck in other games…so I just didn’t really get actually into it. That being said though I have been hearing some of the lore for a while now. And after going into one of the last episode of act two. The story started to really sound a lot like what’s going to happen next. I mean the person in the story( even though the name doesn’t match up)….has the same condition as Viktor. Not to mention the fact that also we see him working on more monstrosities with tubes in it which connects to another lore that’s connected to Warwick…. Which a lot of fans are thinking it’s going to be revealed cost of the last episode of the series. I don’t know there’s so many fan theory is that it almost makes your head want to blow up…lol but anyway yeah I get that this lore is old…. But it can always be brand new to someone else👍

Riot really need to rework Singed so his terrifying story to his character design and abilities. His current design doesn't really fit him in his story. They should do what they did to Fiddlesticks.

Remember, this Warwick is Vander. The one who adopted Jinx and Vi when they were little. And whats worse is that in the Arcane series, this can be straight up connected to Act 1 Episode 3.

It's hell you are walking into. Don't play league, try playing other games around it like LoR, TFT, The Ruined King, but don't play league (unless you already have friends playing it, and wanna hang out with them this way, that's the only reasonable argument to start playing)
