The Animation of The French Dispatch
Фильм және анимация
You can never just make one video on a Wes Anderson film, and certainly not on The French Dispatch. This is why after my video a few weeks ago looking at the cinematography, which everyone seemed to like, I’m following it up with a video all about the animation, as I didn’t get a chance to talk about it as much as I wanted to, and it’s probably my favourite part of the film.
So, in today’s video, I’ll be covering Wes Anderson's use of animation, the animation style used in The French Dispatch, why it works so well, as well as how they did it.
As always if you have a recommendation for an analysis, let me know below!

this is really interesting you mention traditional animation and how it’s been lost in modern animated movies, yet imo it feels so much more authentic and made with care. i was just watching snow white last night and wished children today could experience a modern movie with traditional animation, it would be wonderful.
Awesome video mate !!
