    I can now safely say that these people are somewhat chuukese in a way. I'm not so sure which part of chuuk if I'm not mistaken, they almost sound like People from the outer islands... its either people from the northwest region of chuuk, or the Mortlock islands. mind you I'm from the outer islands of chuuk and I can almost understand what they are saying. but if I listened to a Yapese from the main island I can tell you straight up they don't speak like these Satawalese people. I'm sorry if I come off in some sort of disrespect but I'm just curious why I kind of understand their words its like im speaking to a people from my own island.     Satawal should be part of Chuuk since their language is Chuukese.

    Just because they speak chukic doesn't make em so.Yap is a lot older than Chuuk.Go far back and you'll understand who influences whom the most.

    Satawal was a part of chuuk until the u.n. divide it between polowat, and put under the yap territory...Y'all don't know the history😃😃😃😃
