Love this. No one ever realizes - until they count them like the skate nerd I am - that there are, on average, approximately 180 parts to a pair of skates! LOL

@@moxiskates You're welcome. :) Just...well, mounting - if the plate has 4 holes - that's 4 mounting bolts, 4 mounting washers, and 4 mounting nuts...minimum...per skate, so 12 pieces there/24 total for the pair. Some plates require 6 or 8 bolts so that total could easily go up. Axle lock nuts - 8 per pair of skates. 4 trucks. 16 bearings. Etc. Like I said, I'm a skate nerd, I actually sat down and counted them all. Plus, you know, staying at home and all that...I was bored. LOL

****For Wide Feet**** I have ladies size 10 Wide feet, I was able to follow the sizing guidelines to purchase a pair of Lollys in size 9 (to match the standard men's sizing) and the suede accommodated my feet so comfortably! The laces that go so low towards the toes really let you also have a nice, wide setting if you usually need D width and don't want to size up to get it. They truly feel broken in from the beginning.

Lol I ordered my first pair of skates ever and chose the lolly's... only time I've ever went skating was as a kid for my birthday parties aka 18 years ago hahah These videos have helped me immensely in trying to understand the basics and getting to know my skates before I even get them! Only do that bearing removal trick on your axle w/ soft wheels/hubs. Use a bearing tool for harder wheels or you'll mess up your skate. Bones makes an affordable tool.

@@melk4110 I don't think she mentions it, but she used one of the new colors (the green) as an example for a boot that isn't mounted. There's more convo about them in the Planet Roller Skate group on Facebook.

Hi! Is there anyone that can help? My right skate veers to the left!! I tightened the bushings, I’ve loosened them. Tightened the trucks, loosened the trucks. Tightened and loosened the wheels. I don’t know what to do next.

Try rotating your wheels (like car tires) in an X pattern. Front left to back right & front right to back left.

I’m curious because almost all the skate in the background have the same wheels !? 😂 What wheel is it ? Is it your favorite or just a cheap wheel for decoration ?

im not sure but maybe you can wear leggings if you don’t go super fast they may protect your skin ? i hope you can compromise ! just something i was planning to do to prevent scaring :/
