The whole movie honestly like idk maybe i felt that because i knew she was gonna die, but her father appearing was really like yup shes gonna die. Also the ‘do i have to lose you too???’ ALWAYS SHATTERS my heart. The movie was so sad for them since they weren’t together and it would’ve been SO NICE to see them finally happy😭😭

The spider sense is basically an oracle, it is able to predict certain situations. It wasn't necessarily Peter's speed, but rather that he "already knew" that an attack would come in that situation.

@@Causality01 Yes and that is also because he has insane reaction speed. Remember the scene when he managed to save 3 people who were about to get crushed by a car and electrocuted by Electro all at the same time in just a few seconds? Everything went into slow motion all while he was saving them at normal speed.

2:52 is why he's the best spiderman. That second "no matter what" has so much meaning to it. Him being willing to die to save everything; still heartbreaking he couldn't save the one person closest to him tho :/

I think alot of people miss the fact that Andrew's version of Spider-man has really fast reflexes and body-swerving movement. Lightning itself is approximately 300,000 mph and his Spider-man was able to dodge those strikes from Electro, which makes this version of Spider-man really great with his reflexes compared to other versions. Edit: Yes electricity can be slower than lightning but it really depends on the source of the electricity. Electro had enough to power an entire city perhaps even much more so it's not absurd to see him shoot electricity at a very high speed. And I know alot of people like to dis on Andrew's version, but if his version of his own webbing is 10× stronger than steel and he can break his own webbing with just his fingers (which can be seen in the first movie) doesn't that make his version much much stronger than how most people think he is. Depending on the kind of steel that's definitely over 100,000 pounds of force needed to break it.

4:14 Not only is he fighting through the pain of being severely electrocuted, but he’s also probably fighting his own muscles since being electrocuted like that would likely cause them to contract uncontrollably.

I noticed at 4:55 at the readings of his gadget on the side of his head is shows the voltage 13kV and it also shows DC and AC with the AC being lit up meaning Electro's current is AC which is far more deadly and dangerous than DC, which means Peter was able to withstand 13kV of AC current and just to let some of you who know is that 220v AC from an outlet in a typical house is deadly.. and Peter was experiencing 13kV AC and he survived. Damn...

@@roytorr4303 Lightning strikes down in different ways, some current passes throught nearby objects before passing to the body so some of its energy is lost and the survival rate is higher, also lightning is not AC or DC current, its a mix, its more of a random odd electric signal. Surviving a 220V AC from an outlet when you close a circuit on yourself throught your heart is guaranteed death and surviving it is very unlikely. By the way the frequency of the AC voltage matters as well, frequency of 30-60Hz would mean that even a low voltage like 30V would perhaps be enough to kill someone while high frequency like 10kHz wouldnt be as lethal and the worst pain you would experience is burning youself.

@Silver4x Yeah theres no way his suit would be able to insulate that much electricity.. that amount of power would be able to find a way thru an insulator because nothing insulates by 100% and there are always a way for charges to go thru if the voltage is high enough. He was getting electrocuted. You can also see he was struggling and groaning when Electro got him floating in the air before Gwen hit Electro with a car

@Silver4x Still cannot insulate enough when its 13kV when his was suit was torn as well.. my point was that he was experiencing too much elecricity to the point where a normal human wouldve been fried already but Peter isnt a normal human. Aa of the stungun in the first film I feel like thats just a plot hole just to make him fall and make the dramatic reveal removing his mask.. how else would they stop him right there?

Andrew Garfield has by far the best fight scenes out of the three and you can’t convince me otherwise. Dramatic weight and writing is split between Toby and Tom, but probably goes to Tom Holland more often, but neither of them have fights this good.

@@iambuhlockay8007 the train sequence has good choreography and great filming principles, but the actual moves have just not stood the test of time. They are mostly cgi and look very plasticky and unnatural. Andrew’s looks like it’s happening in reality, the physical are just top notch, paired with amazing choreography and the momentum of Spider-Man specifically is just so satisfying. We can agree to disagree on this one.

@@Yacob-qu6rr I heavily disagree. The special effects for Spider-Man 2 hold up extraordinarily well. In fact, a lot of those fights were in-camera. They only used CGI when there was no other way to do it. The fight with green goblin at the end of the first film was mostly (if not completely) practical. It was such a brutal, and visceral fight, and nothing from TASM duology holds up to it. This fight with electro was almost completely done in a computer, 10 years after Spider-Man 2, and only looks marginally better (if at all) as far as VFX are concerned. It’s not a boring or bad looking fight by any means, but there’s really nothing about it that makes it stand out from a standard comic book movie action sequence. Just my opinion, of course. I respect yours.

@@iambuhlockay8007 just go ahead and watch the fight with Octavius on the train again. It looks like two rubber figures slapping each other, it looks horrible. The movements are too fast and very unnatural, the choreography is good but very difficult to follow. I respect the practical fight scene with goblin, that’s classic and I think it’s good, even if it’s a bit cheesey. I just think the majority of TASM fights look way better than the OG stuff, and the technology for Garfield far far outclasses Maguire’s stuff.

The fact that they saved 2 planes a hospital and every one in the city to get light is just amazing!

2:30 this is the moment Gwen decided to get killed

I love how Peter saw captain Stacey at 3:10 to show his guilt over breaking his promise to leave Gwen out of his battles.

Here is why I LOVE the Andrew movies. The characters, fights and style seem straight out of a cartoon version of Spider-Man and not the comics. I grew up on the cartoons. Max’s over the top nerdy-ness in the beginning and Spider-Man wearing the firefighters hat seem straight from Saturday morning cartoons

I absolutely love the new movie. No way home is fantastic. Easily one of the best Spider-Man movies ever made. But this movie holds such a special place in my heart. I don't care what people say about it, the cinematography, the music, Spider-Man's reflexes, this movie is one of my favorite movies of all time. And it is my favorite Spider-Man movie. It makes me smile like such a kid. And I grew up with the Tobey Maguire movies.

1:35 What I always LOVED about this scene is when Electro plays "Incy wincy spider climbed up the waterspout, Down came the rain and washed the spider out." I always thought it was kinda dark and powerful because of him using the power pylons to play it - giving it an overpowering and almost overbearing, oppressive feel to it. It sounds corny but it sounds so vengeful. Watching this scene it doesn't look that bad at all. It's just other parts of the movie that had terrible writing.

If you know how planes work its kind of stupid 😅, they have alarms already on board to warn of conflicting traffic and a resolution (fly up or fly down), but its understandable this is a movie

How Electro knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man 2:56 Gwen said "Peter" and then the electric man instantly woke up after getting hit by a car.

Perfect suit with crisp and vivid colors, perfect ratios of eye lens to face, right amount of humor not too less like tobey or not too much like tom, best swinging mechanics, good battle IQ, aunt may is just the right age like in the comics, what else do we need? Idk why people don't like Andrew's Spider-Man.

Story isn't great, critics hated it and just idk, Sony want to make money instead of an actual plot of Spider-Man, like Webb after second one just had idea of bringing back Gwen and her dad alive with Venom suit. It just says a lot on how he hated how Sony treated Spider-Man. Like he had to change Spider-Man's first outfit to this just because of Sony, when he had great idea on dark story about Spider-Man like the first one was.

And Sony actually cut every important scene, because they wanted to, like literally they come to set, watch a scene and cut out some parts. So it got kinda messy and not fully untold. I love Andrew's portrayal of Spider-Man, but Sony and some directors, writers ruined it.

I find him to be my favourite live-action version of the character but I think it comes down to the fact that everything surrounding his Spider-Man (Villains, overall story, Sony trying to overstuff TASM2 - having learned nothing from Spider-Man 3, ect). People have recently started to appreciate him more as I think they've realised that behind the decent films is a brilliant Spider-Man who never got a fair chance in the spotlight.

I love the CGI of this movie, it looks so cool. New spidey movies are more realistic looking rather than cool side of them. And the stunts looks insanely smooth and cool in this movie with right timing in slow motion and sound effects and everything, unlike the new movies which looks more focused on realistical side

so this is when electro got teleport to No Way Home by Dr Strange considering he disappear from electric poles and also spawned in electric poles in No Way Home.

This spider man really saved the city, whereas the other spider men created their own problems and caused destruction to the city

2:55 Gwen calls spiderman Peter and Electro opens his eyes. This may fill the plot hole and how he got into the MCU since this was his only chance to learn Spider-Man was Peter Parker.

yeah i thought ASM2 was a lot better than the first one (in my own opinion anyway) and although you can't really hear it all that well the main theme for electro is one of the coolest villain music pieces i've heard which is to be expected when it's composed by Hans Zimmer

I know MJ and Ned are more an emotional support to Tom's Spiderman but Gwen Stacy is the greatest support of all the Spiderman movies. Also, good to see these two actually thinking rationally to defeat villains
