One of the most emotional scenes in any movie I've ever watched in all of film and Superhero films. Every time I see this scene it makes me want to cry for Peter in every way possible. Gwen didn't deserve to die at all. I'm glad Peter got his redemption years later.

​@@darkile5459 I think that sounds damn perfect for a proper third film for Andrew. I've said this numerous times online: even though Tobey Maguire will always be my favorite Spider-Man, I do want Andrew Garfield to get his third movie first.

I have a love/hate relationship with this scene. On the one hand, it’s one of the best directed scenes in any Spider-Man movie ever. It’s so perfectly acted; you can feel Gwen’s fear, and at one point you can see that she’s accepted her fate. And Peter’s reaction is just gut wrenching. It truly breaks my heart every single time. But on the other hand, it hurts so much to watch. Gwen and Peter are possibly the best couple in a superhero movie ever, so that makes losing her all the worse. They felt like they genuinely loved each other, and all of those feelings come rushing back to hit you in the heart right here(I feel about this as most people feel about Jack Dawson dying in Titanic). It’s truly an amazing scene that gets its point across phenomenally, but for that exact reason it hurts just as much as any scene like this ever will

The saddest scene in a spiderman movie. It says a lot, not just about the movie but, about the character itself, how Peter (Spiderman) no matter how hard he tries he won't be able to save everyone sometimes, in this case that event broke him, but as Peter says: he always finds a way to come back

Now everyone knows that Andrew was already an amazing Spider-Man but no-one has appreciated DeHaan's Goblin yet. His design was creepy but his acting was amazing too. Dafoe can't be compared but DeHaan is extremely underrated

It made me sad on the scene where he just stood there, on Gwen’s grave, all sad and wishing he could have done something more to save the love of his life

Gwen Stacy's fall was so beautifully shot in slow mo for maximum dramatic effect. A similar scene is Spider-man No Way Home when Peter-3 saves MJ after a fall off the Statue of Liberty was not as well done and was a quick I'm falling, then Saved.

The aftermath of watching no way home hits all the guts of fans of seeing the heartbroken and guilt of Andrew’s spidey couldn’t save Gwen, luckily very glad andrew came back in action as Spidey and gets his moment of redemption. 2:17- 2:36 Andrew being the best Spider-Man would dope acrobatic agility and kick 2:47 pretty much not even a mention of the green goblin’s creepy jumpscare 3:04 the only time andrew gives punch in his dope second suit.

My heart broke in two when I saw this for the first time...still hurts now 😔

This death scene is perfect in my book we see Peter trying his best trying to keep her as safe as he can even stopping time like he was doing trough out the movie but ended up breaking it in the proces and then he tries his best he is doing everything he can even with the web turning into a hand it gets ya you can feel the desperation of him making it and saving gwen but at the end we see that even Spider-Man can mess up and that he is not invincible and can’t save everyone that’s the hardest part about being spiderman you can’t always save everyone at the same time that’s why I love this scene

One of the most emotional and brilliant scenes in the whole movie. Made me cry in the theater which was a rare sight for me. I was so sad for Peter, but I am so glad he made his redemption years later! Peter 3 for life!

Even 8 years later and this scene still tears up my guts.

The one Spider-Man scene that is just perfect. Cinematography, music, action, CGI, and emotion. It just can’t be done any better

The intensity within this battle of Spider-Man and Green Goblin is just heart pounding when you have Gwen in real danger! Until the moment the web didn't reach on time is the most heart breaking scene in all Spider-Man films.. The chemistry and dynamic between Peter and Gwen were over the roof. Just saddens me everytime I see this scene go down.. IMO, Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy was the best true love out of all Spider-Man's cinematic Girl friends which all of them are great, but Gwen Stacy is the best!

This will be by far the most saddest part in the history of Spider-Man movie

GIVE. THIS. MAN. A. THIRD. MOVIE. FOR. GOD. SAKE. HE. DESERVES. IT.

I still can't look at Gwen's death. It's hard for me to watch. Glad the Amazing Spider Man got his redemption in Spider-Man No Way Home.

I think initially they had Harry either cut the web or snap Gwen's neck instead, that would've been so messed up.

This is the reason why green goblin always has a impact in spidey life

The most beautiful yet the most depressing scene of all the Spider-Man movies💔 Andrew is such an amazing actor .

The web shot coming out and taking the shape of a hand is so insanely well done, incredibly sad, and really conveys how hard Peter is trying to reach out to save her in this scene.

The music that plays when green goblin laughs gives me the chills

The part Gwen fall and died, it makes me cry and hurts me. I skip that part when I watch it on DVD. And the Green Goblin’s face kinda reminds me of Batman’s bad guy the Joker.

Peter 1 is Tom Holland, he never met Harry Osborn. Peter 2 is Tobey, he would probably feel a lot of things. Probably Déjà vu first, from his Harry becoming a goblin as well, but also heartbroken seeing this version of Harry being one of the reasons why Peter 3 lost his love.

It's not really hated. It's just Avi Arad that messed this whole thing up. But I still loved it

I think the most heartbreaking scenes in mcu are with people falling, Gwen and Natasha for me were the ones i actually cried at, i think because of the slow motion watching them, hoping they don't hit the bottom and then seeing them lie there- damn.

This scene was so heartbreaking. I remember returning home from the theater, and I just couldn't go to sleep that night. For the next few days, all I could think about was that she died, I became so distracted by my thoughts that I even failed a couple tests at school. Before watching, I had already predicted she was gonna die, but actually seeing it happen before my eyes was just traumatizing....

My best friend at the time and I watched this in our local theater. He was all dressed up and everything. He was livid that Gwen got what happened to her

seeing this in the cinema for the first time, really breaks my innocent heart. i just can't remember how many tissue paper that i waste after we finish the movie.

I was shattered when I heard that TASM 3 won't be happening and Andrew will no longer be playing as Spiderman, part of me always wanted to see how Peter from TASM series coupe with all that grief but I never got to see it but NWH showed me what my boy went through and when he saved MJ from the fall I felt that both mine and Andrew's redemption arc was completed, we both now don't need TASM3 to share our feeling because NWH showed us that both Andrew and TASM fans were just made for each other and we were driven out unjustly 😢

I felt bad for spider man he couldn't save gwen the last person he loved. He lived with that guilt for a very long time. And he blames himself to this day. In Spiderman's eye, he knew at that moment that if he didn't catch her, this time, he would never forgive himself.
