She didn't know Spider Man was involved thought. Captain Stacy asks Peter to leave the scene before he dies precisely for that reason, so people won't unfairly pin that on him. As for Gwen, her mother didn't knew she was actually dating Spider Man, and electro was a city wide threat. Gwen was heading to the airport, so she simply being in the wrong place in the wrong time could make sense to the family

Out of three he is the most comic accurate to the comic book. His personality is on point here.

I don’t know how, but didn’t anyone noticed Gwen’s speech? She was talking about life, “Life doesn’t last forever, what makes it precious is that it ends”. Every movie is beautiful if you don’t compare it. ❤️

For me Andrew is the best Spider Man, but Tobey is the best Peter Parker. I wish they would give Andrew a 3rd and maybe even 4th movie with some better choice in casting and plotlines as that's the main reason The Amazing Spider Man are bottom on my list for Spider Man movies. His appearance in No Way Home hopefully sparked new Andrew fans as he was a cut above Tobey and Tom in that movie. Stole every scene he was in.

This version of Spiderman was the most "Spider like" if that makes sense. It was also more true to the comics with his personality.

I’ve watched it enough to remember that Peter revealed that he was Spider Man in the first movie, which then ended with them getting back together despite the promise Peter made to Captain Stacy. This movie takes place at least a few months after the first movie, which is more than enough time for Gwen to get use to Peter’s tardiness from being Spider Man.

This opening sequence is often overlooked and criticized for showing Peter being quippy while people is in danger, supposedly acting out of character. nah. I rewatched tasm 1 and 2 years ago and realized he's the most accurate Spider-Man thus i became an Andrew fan. A lot of people think Andrew was the worst Spider-Man bc of the 2nd movie's bad plot which is honestly stupid. ashame people cant distinguish between a bad plot and an actors amazing performance.

Honestly, I was more upset at the time because my childhood Spider-man was suddenly gone. but after a long time, I started to see it. especially when I started seeing how Spidey is in comics.

Peter wasn’t dorky and wimpy in the OG Ditko and Lee story. He was just an awkward wallflower dressed like a typical nerd. Which aside from the aesthetic, Andrew did portray that for his Peter.

Spider-Man is a Superhero who has good sense of humour sometimes while he is fighting criminals but also taking seriously. I think 🤔 Andrew Garfield nailed that the best out of the 3 live action Spidey's. Especially with that "Don't call me late for dinner" and "Are you a hugger?". The way he whistles while webbing up Rhino and just pulls his pants down. Showing his underpants.
