About the upcoming album 'Eternally Yours':
Alphaville, Germany’s biggest synth-pop export and creator of the legendary 80s anthems “Big in Japan”, “Sounds like a Melody” and “Forever Young”, has decided to go symphonic. The band is doing things on the grand scale and catapulting the band’s 40 years of greatest hits out of the orbit of synthesizers and rhythm machines into the world of the human sound machine, the symphony orchestra. “Eternally Yours” is more, much more, than a mere translation of the songs into the sound spectrum of a great orchestra. What it amounts to, rather, is a symbiosis of Marian Gold’s unique vocal capacities, the original Alphaville sound and the majestic power and rich timbres of the concert-hall-sized German Film Orchestra of Babelsberg.
“Eternally Yours” is about the everlasting theme of endurance and evanescence. The lyrics of songs from the past four decades were written predominantly by Gold himself. One central theme for Alphaville and Gold has always been the dream: “We really get around quite a lot, we’ve played almost everywhere, in our heads and out of our heads. All that goes into our music, into the idea of what Alphaville could be. It is like a never-ending dream. Those who hear our music hear fragments of this dream.” The title-track, specifically written for this event comes across like an amorous farewell letter. “I didn't write a single line of my own for this song. All the words and all the ideas come from Shakespeare's Sonnetts. All I did was recompile and minimally adjust them, so as to make them more singable for me.”
“All 23 musical pieces on this album have been essentially clarified by their arrangement, they’re stripped clean, released, set free. Their true nature has been revealed.” Gold and his two arrangers Max Knoth and Christian Lohr have given this album the sonic ambience that matches the musical content of its songs. The songs don’t sound overblown, either, they’re not pushed beyond their limits - on the contrary, the album has such natural, warm, even familiar tones that listening to it, you wonder why there haven’t been more symphonic arrangements of Alphaville songs in the past. Gold goes so far as to say: “When I hear it, ‘Eternally Yours’ really does sound as if it were actually the first Alphaville album - except that for forty years, it lay unreleased. We simply didn’t have access to an orchestra in those days.”
The album “Eternally Yours” by Alphaville with the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg will be released with @NeueMeister on September 23, 2022.

I keep a journal of my dreams too, I don't write in it every dream but only those that are known to be "lucid dreams" or those that I call "strange" . Often the dreams that I call strange, are anyway lucid, and lucid dreams are those that you go on astral, because you know you are dreaming and you know what is happening and you can act consciously in the dream, think consciously. We are made of energy too, so I think you probably have met in your real life those people you have dreamt about, they just don't look like in the dreams. I am sure I have. And I agree completely with you, they are the mirror of our subconscious, I like to give an interpretation using guides, I have read a lot Jung and he is the one I go searching for when I have those strange dreams, so I can understand better which part of my psyche I have to work on, and btw, The Dream Machine is one of my top 5, and I think it is a great choice to open the concert with it, it feels like a door that will open...and then everything start...🥰❤😻

Wow I also have the craziest dreams. Some of my dreams(nightmares) would make the best horror movies but I don't write most of them down. I also have some that I dream of over & over. I also have some nice dreams that I know are really visits from my fur babies in heaven. They are very real and crystal clear. I also know many people in my dreams but some I don't know and some are Almost like a mix of different people lol

"Dreamville"would be an appropriate name for Alphaville.Its masterpieces have a heavenly beauty,it seems that they have been suggested by an Angel.When you listen to them,you wonder if you are dreaming,because they are too good for this world.I would like to know the meaning of Marian's dreams.That of the nightmare of the end of the world is clear.Today the Planet Earth is much less beautiful than when it was created.Mainly because of the building contractors who burn tens of thousands of hectares of woods every year.Their infinite selfishness doesn't want to take into account that the natural environment gives a lot in exchange for little,that an oak is much more beautiful than a sky-scratcher,that a flowering cherry tree is much more beautiful than a resort.

The song Dream machine is very mysterious...the sounds, the lyrics enigmatic ..it's special . The repeated words show the ador. I have 4 possibilities to meet you : in reality, in a dream , in imagination ,in another life.! I always dream that I lose my purse I wake up almost crying ,that the purse in which I have a photo of you is gone . i'm glad when I realize it was just a dream . It is a photo with three images of you : one from Thommy's pop show ,one from Tresor Club Berlin ( Big in Japan) one from The Dome (I day for you today ) I adore this videos with you ,fascinanting.!! Every night I fall asleep with the thought of meeting you in my dreams ...at least in my dreams to meet you.❤☀️🌻
