Hello Mat, I'm a 78 yr old1960's airgunner, starting back, having just bought a reximex Lyra .177 for rat control. Can I just ask i see a lot of info on pellet head size -never considered in 1960's, so could you advise on what seems to be the "best head size to suit Reximex barrels. Really enjoyed this video -thanks

I'm obviously not Mat - but H&N and JSB do good value multi-pellet sample packs - get a couple of these to start to see what sort of weights / styles your barrel likes - then you can narrow down further from there. Good luck and enjoy your shooting again !

I've had great luck with Norma and Crossman Premier pellets for 10m air pistol. You might need to try different brands, weight, and bullet type for your specific barrel.

I'm afraid there are no hard and fast rules - guns that roll off the same production line on the same day can favour different pellets. Best bet is to try three or four of the leading brands (QYS, JSB, H&N, RWS etc) - maybe through sample packs. You should find that one is better than the rest. Thanks for watching. Mat

The gun in the hunting section probably sounded particularly loud because we were inside small buildings with very harsh acoustics. Thanks for watching. Mat

When you are on the target, why do you take so long to shoot?

I am trying to get clean heat shots for humane kills. That's just how long it tends to take me to line up a shot that I'm happy with before pulling the trigger at a point when I'm satisfied that the target isn't going to settle. Thanks for watching. Mat

Hi Michael, and thanks. Whenever I have spoken with the team at FX or their UK distributors, they have pronounced it as Pantera (as if the h has been dropped). I am simply pronouncing it the same way as they do. Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that most people will still know what I'm referring to. All the best. Mat
