we've started to use LLM's where i work. training it on tons of very specific research papers (~30 years worth of research) and having a front end where researchers can ask it questions or which papers might have what they are looking for.

@@statquest surprisingly well...there are some quirks but very good for a beta product. the company is investing more resources into developing this capability for internal use. when business people are willing to invest long term in a technology then you know ML has hit a tipping point.
