The age of impossible, anticipating discontinuous futures: Jacques Vallee at TEDxGeneva

The acceleration of technology in an increasingly connected society producing "impossible futures" that range from rapid collapse of major banks to the emergence of complex new forms of political power. The Internet has become both a tool and a victim of this global mutation.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

I still retain a print listing of INFOL with your hand written notes from our conversations. Happy & creative times back then! I was age 24 back then when you also were close to prof Hyneck as well as Vogelback center. Good luck & thank you. 👍👍 Bob Chalice, Wausau WI

“Whenever a set of unusual circumstances is presented , it is in the nature of the human mind to analyze it until a rational pattern is encountered at some level . But it is quite conceivable that nature should present us with circumstances so deeply organized that our observational and logical errors would entirely mask the pattern to be identified . To the [ genuine ] scientist there is nothing new here .” ― Jacques Vallée

I had the pleasure of meeting Vallee in person to discuss the factual research that became the basis for my novel "Mel-Khyor: An Interstellar Affair." He was very sharp, charmingly Gallic, and a great listener. Although my conclusions didn't agree with his ideas about UFOs, he didn't disparage or dismiss them out-of-hand; OTOH, he never went on to investigate them any further than I could, either. Perhaps he thought the trail, which lead back to a widely-observed meteor event on 8/2/1978, had grown cold. I still admire the expanse of his thinking, which is perhaps the most original in the field. For him, one universe is not enough!

@@thetruthchannel349 Hi TC, until AATIP, probability of 'nuts and bolts' UFOs stood at about 60%. (Probability of mayavirupics -- especially related to nuclear facilities and crop circles -- closer to 90.) AATIP's imaging systems bumped the 'nuts and bolts` factor up to 80%. That UFO's are 'real' (in whatever sense) is pretty well established. You are correct that the main question now is 'the Why?' of their presence and that hinges to some degree on 'where' they come from. If ET, then the WHY is probably largely 'research'. If CT (crypto-terrestrial) then the WHY has to do with the imperil now facing the planet (today, environmental, but in the past nuclear obliteration). If TD (trans-dimensional) then we might 'go Biblical' -- 'angels & demons' stuff -- battling over the souls of humanity... Probabilities are highest that purely 'nuts and bolts' UFOs are CT -- giving that about 80%. (There may be a very few ET visitors but not in the numbers seen since the phenom had its recrudescence in the 1940s. As for 'angels and demons', there probably are 'good ones` (Nordics) and `bad ones` (greys) -- religious types can easily describe this pairing in such a manner...
