I freaking love the Edifice watches. They’re always trying some new ideas and they’re well made. I snagged a Red Bull F1 Edifice from the Sebastian Vettel days on eBay for $90 last year and it’s incredibly dear to me.

I have an edifice like this one with charcoal dial. It is amazingly comfortable. It is an easy go to when I don't know which watch to wear for the day. I easily forget it at my wrist, so slim under a shirt also. very good everyday watch.

These are the real CasiOaks. This one looks great. That Timex is great too! I have the standard Expedition North, I seriously would have considered that Huckberry, but as you mentioned it sold out by the time I discovered it.

Been wanting this watch for a while (not on this dial color) and I think I will get it in 2024! By the way @WatchChris, your camera sensor has a dirt spot, it showed up many times in different parts of the review.

I tried one of these on today. Thinking about going back and getting it. Super light and thin. Looks nice.

Thinking about an Edifice for a daily work watch. I work construction property maintenance right now. The Casio MRW-200H, AE-1500, and the cheap Amazon essentials watch on the old Duro rubber bracelet in rotation is working just fine for now. But a nice stainless watch would be sweet, need sapphire glass.

It’s a great watch and well worth the money. I forget about Casio’s Edifice line. I don’t like this color but a simple search and I found a black one for $115. Thanks for the great review as always.

Same here. I’ve been looking for an octagon bezel. This does it. I forgot about edifice as well.

I was on the fence about getting one of these edifices model before this review. I have an edifice Honda collaboration from a couple years back and love it. I think imma get the stone blue dial color instead

Nice piece but the "sapphire" on the dial... I have a couple of Japanese watches that do this, including a Citizen. While it's reassuring, I feel it's a bit of an overkill.

Which one better with EFB 108d?

Casio go all out with it. Integrated bracelet, teal dial. They should put some numbers on the dial to make it also explorer-y 😂😂😂😂

Nice watch! I own the Tissot PRX Quartz in "Tiffany" blue and yes, this could definitely be a budget alternative! I only wish it didn't have the screws on the case... why have them anyway? What is the purpose? It only makes it look cheaper in my own opinion... Does it have a screw-down crown? Thank you Chris!

Maybe they'll write solid endlinks on the next dial

It doesn't - but Casio actually hides their folded metal links pretty well. It kind of looks solid. They do it much better than Seiko, for example.

By the way there is a solid link bracelet that fits this model. Put it on my black model. It has to be purchased separately but is priced moderately. Apparently there is an asian version with a solid link and clasp bracelet and thats why its possible to buy it separately as a replacement. A little bit tricky to find but not impossible.

Also curious on the part number or on how to get it. If this watch had solid links I'd get it. Can't stand cheap folded links though and with this being an integrated bracelet watch, that's reason enough for me not to get it. The cheap clasp I don't mind.

You might want to try and find it yourself. The clasp is stamped but the folding part is milled, the links are solid and feel well made. Wears comfortable even over the span of several days.

The part number is "ten","sixty-one","twenty-six","sixty-two" (maybe this works)

Its looking so elegant on your wrist and so economical at price. Others charging a fortune for this look.. I wish to buy this but already have 4 Edifice which is not manageable for me to live with so many watches.

Not really impressed with the bracelet... But for that price range is ok , have you ever heard / rewied swiss military hanowa watch brand? Quite popular easterm Europe

Chris…. I’m pretty sure this has folded links too, and Casio is charging more. These things need to be called out. No bueno by Casio.

the fake screws are horrible.

Casio unfortunately always includes the crown in the watch diameter.
