Shockwave was one of the few "good" senators. He wanted to fix issues that plagued Cybertronian society and do good. And for that, they took away his face, his hands and his morality.

Agreed I like to imagine before he got his iconic oeter Cullen voice when he became prime he more or less sounded like his transformers animated self that way Orion pax and Optimus prime while connected would still be in essence different people

This is why TransformersIIDW 2005 vol 5 Chaos Theory is my favorite comic volume of the entirety of Transformers media.Because of moments like this. Optimus stood up to the entire Senate and verbally kicked their ass BEFORE he became Prime. Prime is my favorite Transformer. There's not many characters out there like him who can kick ass with words, not just blades, fists and guns.

Probably not they’re gonna go with the more widely accepted version of events with Optimus not being like this because this differs from official cannon in the fact Orion pax was a cleric not a police officer

@@austinrooks1787 Optimus has been many things, in G1 he was a dock worker, in Aligned he was a cleric, here he's a cop. It looks like TF One will have him be forced into the mines with Megatron, maybe he will be something else prior to being forced into them but there's a lot of room to work with

You know a transformers movie set in the IDW universe would be amazing. How does paramount not do this? Are they allergic to money?

I can see why people really love this interpretation of the Transformers. They went so much into the politics of Pre-War Cybertron and I love it. Soon, Hasbro is going to release the best Hasbro official action figure of this version of IDW Orion Pax/Optimus Prime, in a two pack. The bad news, *it's a San Diego Comic Con exclusive.*

This Orion Pax voice reminds me of the Optimus Prime from Transformers Animated.

That last shot both chilling and climactic. They hollowed out part of him so that he could carry the matrix. This will alter his destiny and ultimately give him authority he never would have wanted.

Literally a month later but that’s also really dramatically ironic because to ensure the survival and safety of his species; he has prime-hood thrust upon him, in a way he has to give up his freedom by being mantled with responsibility

Damn, Orion, you have the makings of a Prime, but not quite the same way with words and actions that the Optimus Prime Peter Cullen voiced and created has.

You don’t need the electronic filter. It hides the nuance of your voice performance. The best TF cartoons and iconic voices didn’t need electronic filters.

Buddy, the vast majority of voice performances of the Cybertronians in all cartoons use voice filters. It's to reflect the robotic nature of their being. It's there for flavor and for that very reason, it would sound strange without it.

I've seen a few good dubs of this book but this is my favourite. I love the delivery of The 3 Questions.

Sir. Do you have more of this? Furthermore...I know this is a big, BIG, ask, but your narrated IDW TF videos are pretty damn good....would you be willing to hunt down all prequel/flashback story material from IDW's TF run, narrate it, dub it like this, then put it in order, like in a playlist, to watch? The material about the past kinda bounces around a lot, and sometimes, I wasn't fully certain what bits fit where. Like, maybe everything that takes place before Autocracy, but if you wanted to do Autocracy/Monstrosity/Primacy, hey, even better! Maybe even add that small bit where Optimus ordered Metroplex and Alpha Trion to leave Cybertron (short flashback that was done to explain why they were not present until later in the present).

Short answer: Absolutely not. Long answer: As cool as it would be, and as flattered as I am that you enjoy this so much, the amount of time and resources (i.e., cast, money, editing ability, editing software even) I would need to even consider taking on such a task far outstrips what I currently have at my disposal. Also, that could probably get me into some serious trouble with Hasbro, and honestly? That's something I would like to avoid, as a dream of mine is to eventually voice a character in a Transformers show.
