2-part Pilot episode theory: many streaming platforms are dropping the first 2 episodes at once rather than creating a bigger pilot episode which is what most of us are used to seeing in prime tv shows. So perhaps we should consider these as a 2 part pilot rather than a pilot and 2nd episode. Just a thought….

I think Syntell is wrong because I feel fans bring a lot of baggage. If you aren’t a fan, it’s more so about enjoyment.

as always, i love your reviews. i know nothing about star wars so im coming into this blind. i quite enjoyed the first episode, there were things that deffo need working on but overall it was pretty decent.

So the girl makes a grab for the lightsaber while fighting but doesn’t take Trinity’s lightsaber after she’s dead like it’s her prize? So why did she try to grab it then?

It's made clear in the second episode that the killings are some time of ritual or test - she has to kill at least one of her four targets without using any weapons but the Jedi's own. Taking Indara's lightsaber won't help her fulfill the ritual/test. She only resorts to the knives/poison/trickery when her initial attempts fail.

@Patrick76399 I have seen both episodes. I will say in this instance, she had no choice. She is not on the level of a master. She has to at some point, pass initiation to get a dark saber. That's just Sith 101

@@AUMOTmusic So she’s grabbing for the lightsaber to kill them with it. So she’s not trying to collect them and then kills a Jedi with her knives and then decides it not honorable to take it now…

One thing to consider though about pilots. They release the first and second episode on the first day so wouldn't you consider that both of them together as the pilot? Personally I would just food for thought. Thank you guys! Love watching you

pacing wise with how episode 1 ended it legit feels like these two were suppose to be in just one episode. but they split it on purpose do to the bs algorithm system many streaming sites do.
