Obviously a comment by a man, or woman attempting to find fault with the smallest of details. The wrong utensil won't keep you out of heaven but brainwashing your entire "flock" will.

One of my childhood friends fell in to a “ Friendship Church “ . I tried to keep in touch but the more I talked to him the less he resembled my friend. Their leader asked me who I worshipped, I said “ The Great Spaghetti Monster in the Sky “. He did not laugh and said my soul was damaged. I told him that I have no mortal sins , I love my wife and am good with my family plus I don’t need a group of people to worship me. He then ask me to leave my friends houses, I looked at my friend who I knew for over 30 years and he told me to leave. This whole experience has left me very jaded and sad. I lost a not just a friend but someone I considered family.

Hands down, this was one of the most disturbing episodes concerning religious cults "based on" Christianity. No religion should be based on cult of personality, and any leader who needs that much adoration and actually craves it is dangerous. Anyone who also becomes a cult zealot obeying someone who claims to be God/Christ after He already came the way He did has been indoctrinated and brainwashed.

@@Panwere36 well. firstly, I don't think Elizabeth warren has ever called herself a "victim" But the reality is, she is a woman running for the seat of the most powerful office in the land which has been traditionally held by men. There is a disadvantage already she is facing because of her gender, and that is not something made up but a historical fact that women running for the presidential seat faced a lot more hardships, then their male counterparts. Secondly. Donald Trump is a different breed type of a leader. He said, and I quote, "I could shoot someone on fifth avenue, and you would all still support me." These are the words of our current president. A president who knows the level of manipulation and power he has over his supporters. I think if Elizabeth Warren ever even uttered those words, her campaign would be cancelled in under a minute.

  • @Panwere36

@@saneelat.7684 , please. Warren has said just as bad, and worse. Also, the fact you are justifying her lies with "the gender card" doesn't hold up.. *_especially_* after you completely dismissed all others. She will NEVER be POTUS.. and not because of her gender. That "it's because she has a vag" crap didn't work to get Hillary in.. nor did it pan out as an excuse she lost. I didn't want Trump, didn't vote for him.. but all the excuses and "justifications" you make are as bad if not worse than those who "vindicate" Trump. Trump has not once called for the kinds of behavior that has come out of "progressives" at the beck and call of Warren and others. I don't have to like Trump to defend him in comparison to Warren and others. Any defense attorney would do the same even for a client they found personally repugnant. The bottom line is that Trump is Trolling more often than he is serious.. and people like you fall for it every time. you already have made it where he will not have to do a third of the work he did in 2016 to win this year. Haven't you people done enough?

This ending broke my heart. Mike Logan tried so hard to help that girl see the truth. But like Jim Jones, David Koresh and others they take in people ‘looking for something’. These people don’t, unfortunately, find churches with teachings following the Bible and worshiping God. They fall in with men demanding to be worshipped. False teachers don’t begin to describe them.

I was born a Reform Jew, a more modernizes, liberal minded Jewish Denomination, went to an ultra orthodox jewish school, which was way more extreme than how I was raised, it was okay for a time, but their beliefs eventually became too much for me and I left. Now I’m the stepdaughter of a Reform Jewish Rabbi, and I’m pretty damn proud.

Why is promiscuity considered bad? That literally makes no sense. For that matter why are we putting people in prison for (some) drugs they choose to ingest. God i'm getting old.

Oh Lord, you are. Promiscuity generally equates to a lack of respect for yourself. Oh- and all the risk-risk taking associated with it. So there’s that. Drugs are dangerous, drugs kill people, people taking drugs kill other people, drugs are illegal. Need I say more? If being addicted to any type of drug only affected the addicted individual, it would be a different story. But drug addiction can also destroy the lives of the people who know or are related to the addict. There’s collateral damage which is forcibly inflicted on the people around the addicted person. So yeah.

@@yesterdayitrained I would dispute the Promiscuity being equated to a lack of respect for yourself and with proper protection the risks are not that high, for many having a number of partners is a empowering and in any case its perfectly natural for young adults. Now the drugs thing is true however drugs being outlawed does result in a bit of a loop of people geting hooked, Spending their money on drugs and ruining their relationships, not geting the help they need, geting arrested and when they get out they are still hooked on the stuff but now they can't get any help as a felon meaning the whole thing repeats itself.
