@@kathimorrical9912 Way back, c.1988-9, my Secondary School (High School, for those on the other side of Yon Pond), here in London, England, had this wonderful idea of work experience ... ... in Infant/Junior Schools. The irony was that, not but a few streets away from mine was a place called Strathmore School, where children, with a variety of disabilities, mostly serious ones, such as Down Syndrome kids, or, like my sister, non-verbal Cerebral Palsy, would go. For a variety of reasons, I was a overprotective older brother, whom was concerned about just how well that School was treating not just her, but the other kids there ... Unfortunately, they didn't match me, but they did with another School. So, for about a fortnight, I spent half a day there ... Even to this day, I still remember being out, in the gentle rain, shivering, as I dug through the brick built sandpit, 3ft in diameter, roughly 8 inches deep, to retrieve all the socks, and shoes, the little snotbags decided to bury in it ... But, the rest of the time, it wasn't that bad. In fact, despite being a guy, that experience kinda made me want to go into Early Years education, although even back then, I was warned off against the impossible odds, to the point I was ultimately dissuaded ... So, yes, although it wasn't exactly the same experience as yours, and although I'm not a parent yet, I can well imagine what it is like when the hunger alarm goes off ... ... exhausting as hell, but, deep down, you really don't want any other job, for it if it was really _that_ bad, you would've walked away sometime ago ...

I’m not sure what it is, but anytime I see a baby on tv or in real life it reminds me of the day my son was born.
