This is so hard to watch of course. The dark room is were is mind was caged (depressing mode) releaving the darkest moment of his life. The shoulder moment, self harming suicide attempt etc but the scene where he's trying to get out and he couldn't. Remind me of the only time he couldn't perform and was stuck on the bathroom floor crying and couldn't make himself live the bathroom.....

The raw representation of his pain and sufferings in a more artistic way. Tbh I cried after watching the mv, I just could not stop myself. I can't even imagine how much pain Yoongi went through in his life to reach his now peace, where he is himself, accepting of his past and being hopeful for his future, where he knows even after all those traumas he again reincarnated himself as a blooming lotus, a rising Phoenix which is unstoppable now. My respect for him just skyrocketed. I just love him and wish nothing but the best for this man. He is silent but he always takes care of others without complaining and people often misunderstood him for his cold behavior but he is one of the most kindhearted, genuine and true to his own self kinda man who knows what he is doing and what he wants. Hope he gets all the happiness in life. This man out of everyone deserves it. 💜

He open up everything ,his part time job ,his accident,suicide attempt, his parents' health condition, his depression ,anxiety ,hardship. 😭😭😭😭😭😭.. He faced soo many hardships 😭i feel soo sorry. but Yoongi now i'm happy to see u happy and healthy. 💜💜 our Yoongi is sooo genius. 💜

the mv is a true story from his trainie days. he was a delivery boy to pay for his tuition and got into a crash (thats how he got his shoulder injury). at first he didnt tell bighit but ended up telling them and they paid for his tuition.

The most heartbreaking thing is that this was not fiction, this all happened with him and yoongi is so brave to share it with the world through his art. I'm so proud of him.

Please note the split-second image of a hand holding almonds at 5:22. This is a reference to ALMOND: A NOVEL about a guy who has trouble identifying and describing experienced emotions because of a neuropsychologic condition (alexithymia). The "almond" refers to the amygdala, an almond-shaped area of the brain. Yoongi was seen reading this book in a preview to IN THE SOOP. The book is on Namjoon's recommended list.

the mv was just amazing. The way they executed the message in it just blew my mind!!! Yoongi is so strong y'all, I'm so proud of him.

I saw how the meds after became almonds in the MV, and I remember that in the book 'Almond' (that he read at the In The Soop) the protagonist was told to eat almonds to get his amygdala to work properly and that detail blow my mind

I'm just super proud of yoongi to actually get past through such struggles in his past along side the struggles and hate that bts faced together as well. Yoongi is super brave to actually put this out there remembering those dark memories of his life. The shoulder accident during doing a pizza delivery, the lyric when he said " My accident I couldn't even tell someone" breaks my heart. his struggles with anxiety, depression, hate, physical and mental health. This music video is so dark but so real. we can see the true story of what suga has suffered through.

All those traumatic and painful events actually happened in real life. He’s talked about it years ago and seeing it in the mv and acted by yoongi himself was insane.. I wasn’t emotionally ready. I’m crying so hard :(( I’m just glad yoongi is still with us today.

When the MV is actually his life

Yoongi is genius!!! Plus he is getting younger, he is so divinely beautiful!

This MV was just so raw and powerful, the lyrics are so full of raw emotion which I can partly relate to. And I just love Yoongis acting also there were bits that made me cry and get emotional. I can relate to it on such a personal level too as I no exactly what he is saying in this MV and song as I've been thru all that. He also said F**k to trigger warnings aswell (which this mv triggered me so much but yet Yoongis voice comforted me in a way only I can understand)

I actually cried watching this music video. It’s so well done and Yoongi’s acting is incredible.

The lyrics and this music video is so heartbreaking. The fact that Yoongi chose to share such personal moments with us that was so hard for him to get through must have been so hard but he still did it anyway it says alot about the person he is, he has so much of courage. I am so proud of the man he is. He gives me so much of strength everyday.

"amygdala" is a part of the brain associated with past trauma .. and yoongi is portraying the day of his accident happened during his trainee days that caused the shoulder injury he had to deal with for years

This is literally one of the most personal song and m/v he's ever done. The fact that all the stuff showed in the m/v happened to Yoongi is crazy.

I was moved in tears the whole time watching it. Hardcore but very true. He was so brave enough to share his own scars. It's like his dark days but everything has come in full circle and he was able to overcome it. Agustd is scarred but he said he is now in a better mental state. He survived. He's a living testimony. Now i understand his message from Daechwita, Haegum and now Amygdala.

I just saw the MV and it's just amazing n perfect and it's emotional too 😢😢😢 It's tear me up 😢😢😢

The fact that he actually went through this…it’s heartbreaking. But I’m proud of him, the album is about healing so he’s definitely being vulnerable now that he’s overcoming his trauma.

I'm feeling soo blessed and greatfull to being a part of this fandom, the way he presented himself to us and show us This thing is a big thing in itself, not everyone can do it, #proudtobebtsarmy.

Amygdala is the part of the brain that holds our memories. The name of the song is so appropriate, and the music video is so cartharsis.💜💜💜

I really love how beautiful and artistic this MV is, but what I love the most is how meaningful it is! Amygdala is such a beautiful song with a huge emotional weight... Yoongi had to explore and open wounds of all these traumas and painful moments in order to liberate himself from it and rebirth in life as he mentioned in the song D_DAY too. We know this process was not easy it all, it was actually really painful like he mentioned in his documentary. I'M CRYING 😭 It's already one of my favorites ever. Thank you Yoongi for sharing this album with us, an album full of really personal stories and songs that can give strength and help other people too. I'm so proud of being an army, I'm proud of supporting him. He's an incredible artist and a really admirable person. 😭💜 WE LOVE YOU YOONGI. I hope in the future you have days full of happiness and love because you deserve it.

Dear sir The story depicted in this MV is not just a story...it IS THE ACTUAL LIFE STORY OF MIN YOONGI AKA SUGA ..the way he has struggle and indeed BTS has struggle...it takes a Lot of Courage to tell this to us ...to trust us to understand...Yoongi told some of this in his song Last also ... He said when he was just signed as trainee he worked as a delivery guy and paid for his college fees ...but this accident happened and he developed shoulder injury ...he didn't told anyone since he thought the agency would throw him out ... eventually they paid for this and also his college fees...the struggle this man has went through is Immense....I just want to convey him that U ARE NOT ALONE ...NOW U HAVE A FAMILY OF 6 BROS AND MILLIONS OF FANS .... My opinion is that when he runs from his bike, he is lucid dreaming. He senses that he needs to wake up now since he can feel his actual self is in pain but he can't open the door

He reborn the lotus symbol is being reborn he is stronger now

I think he had an accident during his trainee days which injured his shoulder, and but he kept on going even when it hurt like hell, because this could potentially end his career before it began. So that's more likely what this scene on the motorcycle is.
