Loam Pox has become such a channel staple, and I love the lists each time they show up

I am convinced Brian just records the audio after the games to get all the draws correct 😂

I still come back to this video just to imagine being on the receiving end of that first turn poxening in round 1. It makes me feel alive.

Just a thought, a card that just destroys lands is Ashiok. It shuts everything that deck does down

I finally bit the bullet and ordered a pair of Jace’s. Now I can wear the hoodie while B.storming and fatesealing. Loving the deck as always, what’s not to love…. Its loampox!!!!! Such an iconic deck for the channel, and it such a nice deck to watch play out as the opponents squirm from below a sphere or t1 smallpox/seize

My favorite is the spreading algae pox… hopefully, that gets another round.

We have a guy who swears to a similar list in our community, and as an Elves player, it's pretty much the only match up where you want to start off with a Cradle. Getting an Arbour with GSZ is usually an auto-loss, playing any kind of one drop turn one will possibly cost you the game. If you open with a Cradle, you might be able to develop some kind of board state that doesn't get slaughtered by Smallpox on their turn one/two, and if you get to the stage where they can't two for one you into oblivion, you might get to play some Magic. Another tip is to be careful when you fetch, as being able to keep Arbour around is also potential acceleration with Cradle active.

Super fun to watch Loam Pox be piloted so smoothly. Pox is such a tricky deck to play right, so it's great to see it get such a clean game plan mapped out for it, even if it didn't work out. Knowing where the deck is weak or not is a huge deal, too. Thanks a lot for sharing.

I love the full on live editing after the gameplay, keep up the good work!!

Loved this. If there is more to come, can it be the most busted you can make it. I need to see tears.

I've not watched a Bosh N Roll Video in more than a week, but trying to graduate University will do that. In my first week as a non-student in nearly two decades I'm glad I've got a backlog to keep me entertained as I wait to hear back from applications and interviews

Why not in game 1 dark ritual out of chrome mox , play smallpox and then land and hymn ? that way you have no land to sacrifice so you play it after , no ?

Yeah it was funny going from deck tech "nobody else except someone with as much experience with pox than I can make these deck building decisions" to "Oh i guess I'm gonna sac my land for no purpose whatsoever"

the pox vids were what brought me to this very channel and the great content overall was what made me stay! thx for putting in the effort! :)

I have never clicked a new Bosh and roll video so fast. Except maybe the mulch deck. Or some of the control decks. Or that delver brew. They’re all pretty good, but this one is really exciting!

I have at least 10 views on this video at this point. If i could give you the loam-pox list that i won Norway's "win a savannah" with in November. I would pay for that content. Can't afford being a Patreon atm. But as a 12 year pox innovator. Seeing a properly competitive version of this would be so amazing. And i would put in as much as i could afford into having a Mastermind like you play my deck (as it is now) as the last one was bent to beat Ragavan. But man, your content is amazing. Keep going.

I love loam pox! Really like this list too, just classic loam pox. I will say I've tested exploration in loam pox and its amazing! If I ever save enough to do a donation deck its gonna be that. I also think exploration is a great deck in loam pox, because it allows you to slow roll your urza's saga into your best land for the matchup.

Ravens crime would look good in some of those games where your just dredging loam to flood lands in your hand as your control opponent sits and waits. You could run like 2 and get value from dredging.

First round that guy was really holding on - their username relevant.

I'm a huge Pox aficionado, and it makes me really happy when you play any flavor of it. I still bust it out in paper from time to time, it's an excuse to sleeve up my English The Abyss which I refuse to cut. 4 mana is a lot but it doesn't eat your Saga tokens, so it's often one sided. I'm biased because I love the card but I think it's at least worth a second look. Also I REALLY think you want a Cursed Scroll in the deck. This thing has been a Pox staple, and having it as a 1 of to grab with Saga is really nice. Repeatable colorless damage is a banger and I can't imagine sleeving up Pox without it. Keep in mind everything I said here comes from experience with straight mono black Pox, I would definitely defer to your experience playing the BG version, but I don't think either of those cards are unreasonable to consider. I've played a ton of Pox on the channel and most lists have Scroll. I do like it, just wasn't room in this build.

I almost always play Surgical when my deck has heavy discard. Thoughtseize into Surgical can collapse some decks on T1.

Out the gate at 12:10 with a big oops. Should have diamond dark rit small pox, THEN play the land into hymn. That way you are super ahead for constructs coming up

R2G1 makes me think summoner's pact + thoughtseize alone is a combo kill for game 1 XD

Worm harvest is a great card for EDH if you're playing Gitrog and that's about it.

Calling out like three topdecks in a row in game 2 of round 2 was absolutely disgusting.

Is Takenuma worth a slot somewhere? A Loamable way to recur planeswalkers seems reasonable. Might be too narrow?

First turn of the league why you didn’t mox then pox before land drop? You could have kept an extra land in play. (Edit - sorry looks like others pointed this out).

If you want to be able to target any threat, play assassin's trophy. If you want your removal to always resolve, sun abrupt decay. Not that your pick here is wrong, just pointing out a distinction you glossed over when discussing the two of them.

That was implied in my description given the text of the cards. It doesn't matter if your spell is uncoubterable if it's also uncastable.

For oops all spells match up, isn't t1 ritual for plague engineer on illusion gg? Not sure if its correct to be in deck but seems decent.

No, they play 1 bridge from below which replaces the Narcos with zombies to still do the combo

Is contamination too bad for lands matchup?

time spiral came out and I started squealing about Smallpox. My friends didn't get it. Then I played a playset with 4x Damnation 4x Phyexian Totem and laughed

Question: g1m1 why play a land into your own smallpox? Is there something I'm missing?

M1g1 why did you play the land before you poxed? Is there a force bayou dryad force deck going around a missed? (Not a dig, genuinely curious)

I guess not many people enjoy such games and it gets much harder in multiplayer. Tegrid is a great commander for any all player discard/sac cards or maybe jhoira of the gitu, suspend a aoe land destruction spell and a wincon and watch the party go.

It's not castable in this build. I've played Kroxa Pox on the channel before. I also have a Kroxa prison deck coming out later this week. :)

1 cursed scroll for tutor? You had a couple games that could have been won by a few scroll activations.

Pox is probably my favorite bad deck. I'll just keep waiting for a metagame when it's really viable.

Dampening sphere instead of sphere of resistance? I just feel like it's a direct upgrade

Wouldn't Plague Engineer just wreck Oops All Spells? Name illusion, Narcoamoebas can't stay on the field, so they can't combo until the engineer is gone.

first game turn 1 misplay. should mox ritual pox, THEN play your pit so you don't lose a land, then hymn. yeah the hymn pox sequencing is worse but you keep your land. come on man

Currency Converter (lets call it CC) would be nice in this deck. Still think this is a hidden gem. think about it. Turning your Liliana - smallpox - Mox discards into free 2/2 rogues or Treasure tokens. And it's a saga target. And as a 1-off, if you have this in your hand + a Mox, it's free. Play land - tap, play CC, play Mox, discard Mox, exile mox under CC, tap CC to put land in GY and create a treasure token. I'm just trying something new here guys... :D I know CC is very powerfull in Lands.dec

Yeah, Overgrown Tomb isn't that much worse than Bayou in the deck and you can play without Diamonds, it's just slower.
